I emailed the url on their website last week and again yesterday trying to book a few rooms - No response at all. Is this normal for them??

PM HerbF and he can walk in and make your reservations.

While the hotel is functional and one of the nicer monger specific hotels in Sosua, there have always been complaints about the management.

In the past i have called and have been told to email. I called because they never returned my email. I find that in the high season if the place has many bookings Diego leaves rooms open for walk-ins and tries to charge them $49 a night instead of the internet posted price of $15 less.

I usually get an email from Diego within 48 hours.

When you write to him let him know that you have stayed at the Europa in the past and would like to reserve a room for the following dates XXXX.

If that fails you can call the hotel.

Diego takes his time. Last month he was gone to Florida, so it took him a minute to get back. Then he responded and booked my rooms, so give him a week or so...

Or just call the hotel and book it.

I prefer to have the email in my hand so that there are no misunderstandings.
