Can anyone that has stayed at Hetel Voramar tell me where it is located in Sosua ? I ussually stay at the Europa however Diego wants to hit me over the head for $59 a night, so I thinking of some other hotels. I know it's high season but i think $59 is a little too high for the europa. I rather pay the $55 at new Garden if the Voramar is too far of a walk to the main strip.
do you know where the playa chiquita casino is?

I stayed their in November It a ten minute walk plenty of mot taxi in the day time but a night you have to walk a bit to find one. I found out if it rain heavy the roads flood and taxi may not be able to make to the hotel
With all the negative I would still stay there then at the europa . staying at the new garden this time

Rent a moto at 20 us dollars a day and u can ride all over town anytime u want. It is great for meeting chicas during the day, and u get to see a lot more of the town instead of walking all over. I can not see doing it any other war as for myself.

i know many guys that have stayd there and they hated the way the german owners treat them.. old beds, old plumbing, its out of the way so youd need a truck or car...if ya like walkin around town ur betr off at the new garden... altho if your into the casino you cant get any closer except for villa chessa... problably a betr choice that voramar if you dont mind the distance to classico's... i would try to get new garden down to $50 a night or try the blu byou behind the orange phone center.. or even hotel romanoff is an idea for the cheaper rates...

lol the Europa is up to $60 a night? They can keep it for a room in that shithole!
If all else fails get a condo at tradewinds, the palms, or the guy right before the palms on the same side. Guys name is Mike. Its called Casa Manana. Brand new condos he just built so hes looking for new guests.
Remember if your there with cash in hand and dont like the price try offering something reasonable for multiple nights. If I was a hotel owner id rather get $40-$50 a night in cash then have the room empty.
Never know in the DR though but its always worth a try.

A 10 minutes walk ? Then you are a real fast walker. I would say more than 20 minutes if you are talking about Voramar - Classico.

Ive seen the place as I walked or went by it on a moto. Its kinda out in the boonies. If im going to be that far away I might as well be in a villa or a condo.

Not too friendly to American saltines also. Got stuck there a few times for last minute changes in schedule. For the price the place is not bad but that end of town seems to be more European friendly.
Mike, do the New Garden or Casa Cayenna. I woulk not piss on the Europa if you paid me $60.

Saltine is a crackhead? Or only a white-skinned crackhead? Or what?
