Staying at ElCaucho is like staying with family

I just got back from 1 week in BC. A SCUBA buddy and I stayed at the ElCaucho. The trip was a combination Diving/Chica mongering fiesta.

The hotel is a quaint complex with rooms around a nice pool area. The front area has a bar/covered patio area where most of the socializing occurs, and where the in house chicas hang out. These girls will not approach you, you must make the first move. They are very nice and come in a good variety. The going rate is 1000-1500 ST. LT is more, but I didn't partake.

It also has a restaurant on the second floor of a seperate building where the kitchen is located on the first floor. The food is very good and priced fairly

The best feature of this hotel is the attitude of the owners. Francesco and Abbey will go above and beyond your expectations to insure that you are having a good time. I COMPARE STAYING THERE LIKE STAYING WITH FAMILY.

The owners are working very hard at making constant improvements.

I made many new friends which I will stay in touch with. EMan was there during my stay. He and his buddy are great guys.

The scene on Duarte is better than it was last year during my first trip. There are a few more clubs open, and the chicas are easy and plentiful. Those who say that BC is dead are wrong. The Chicas are everywhere, and if you don't find one on Duarte, you can always count on the in house girls.

I can't wait until my next trip to BC. Unfortunately I can only pull this off once per year. When I do return, you can rest assured that I will go back to ElCaucho.

I am at El Caucho. The place is great and like everyone said the owners are the best. Anything you ask for they get it for you or drive you to it. The girls are nice as well, you have to call them over if you want. Couple are real cuties, they come in all colors size and shapes to please anyone. The price ranges for 1000 to 1500 pecos. Looking forward to your report.I'm not sure when I'll be able to crank out a "typical" report, but I was surprised and impressed at how things changed for the best in Boca Chica. I was in Boca Chica in January 2006 and I didn't even bother to check out Duarte (Street) at night. Nevertheless, last Friday I spent an evening on Duarte and was surprised that things were picking up. Although, Cosmos and Zanzibar were still closed and the numbers were still noticeably down from the "Pre-1/2005 Crackdown", Route 66 has become the new Duarte hangout. There were plenty of women and enough tables and tourists in the streets for an enjoyable evening. I was also impressed that I saw a lot of new and pretty faces on the street that evening.

Nevertheless, I still believe that March is one of the best months to be in the DR and I believe that Friday and Saturday nights are the best nights to be in Boca Chica. I still think it's always best to spend one's weekend afternoons at Boca Chica beach and the rest of the time in Santo Domingo.

Although, I haven't been a guest of El Caucho since 2004, I have been by to visit and I still think that it's one of the best girl friendly hotels in Boca Chica and I would highly recommend it to a Boca Chica newcomer. My only "knock" on the hotel is that it may be a bit pricey for the size of the room; however, there really isn't a comparable in Boca Chica when it comes to the ammenities they offer on site. Generally, the "knock" on El Caucho is that it's not near the "action;" however, everyone I meet seems to have an idea of where the "action" is. Some say on Duarte, some say on Juan Baptiste Vicini (main road from the highway to the park), some say near the park, and some say on Caracoal (main road from the highway, adjacent to Hamaca Hilton.)

I don't think you're going to see a lot of new talent from San Pedro and Santo Domingo walk by El Caucho, but you will see young local girls from Andres and Boca Chica (the neighborhood is less touristy.) Personally, I think the best hotel location is on Juan Baptiste Vicini, less than a block north of the park.

To Dinero, Jayman, and JDR, I am not hotel management. I am merely a part time monger who can only get to the DR once per year. That is why I only hve 23 posts on this board ( however a senior member). If this is how you respond to those of us who are not as seasoned as you are, you can probably see why there are so many lurkers on this site.

Anyway, I had a great time in BC. The scene in general has improved since last year. The service that I received from the staff at ElCaucho was great.

Sailor02 is not definitely El Caucho management. I met him on WSG and hung out with him last year in Boca when he stayed at El Candil. I recommended El Caucho to him since I had stayed there and had a wonderful time.

All that he has said about the management and onsite chicas is true. Based just on the way Abbey and his staff bend over backwards to assist I would recommend this hotel over any other in the area.

OK. I'll try to answer some specific questions that some of you had.

Continental Mike and herbf. My daytime activities centered around SCUBA diving. However, when I was not diving during the day, I was hanging out at Isle Bonita and Playa Vista. There are plenty of other mongers at those locations who will gladly share info with you. You will also find the occasional chicas making their daytime rounds at these locations. I personally did not scoop any daytime action.

Manigault. The pool scene at ElCaucho is very subdued. There were no wild topless parties going on there during my stay. However, the in house chicas visit the pool area and one can easily hook up while at the pool.

Someone asked about the new clubs. While on my trip last year, the only club that was open was Burbujas (spelling?). This year that club was like a ghost town. The new clubs are:

American. On Duarte near the park. This place looked rather dead, but had a few doable chicas hanging out front.

Route 66. This place has the gas pump out front. Many nice chicas both inside and hanging out front.

The Caribbean (I think). This place is right next to route 66. Many chicas inside and out front (like route 66).

conventional wisdom for awhile as been that it's the mongers from the USA that have been driving up prices.There are no Americans in Boca Chica (well, not like Sosua.) Nevertheless, you'll find a higher percentage of American "vets" in Boca Chica than in Sosua.

Also, a German/Italian driving up the price is much different from a New Yorker driving up the price. Girls can still be pulled out of Boca Chica for RD$500. :lol:

All the chicas first asked for 2000 RD$ but I got all (the ones that I had) of them down for 1500RD$ for TLN and 1000 RD$ ST. Got one for 1000 RD$ TLN. I met a couple other guy at the hotel that had a car, we took 2 trips to Santo Domingo. We checked out the casinos, (lots of working chicas there). Had dinner there one night that was great. They is a lot of talent in Santo Domingo and if you know spanish it free pickings.

I woke up one morning and said to myself, who is this crap hurting.......me.

From that day on, I look at, I smell, I touch, the small pleasures of life. I have learned how to tell my "grown kids, girl and boy" I Love you. I kiss my grandkids all the time and say Pop Pop Loves You. Once you learn how to stop the bickering and fighting Life is Wonderful. Yeah, I got some problems......but look left, look right, my problems ain't shit compared to the next guy.

I doubt that I will have a bad time. As long as there is an afternoon chica and an evening chica I am good to go...........So 5 days X 2 chicas means the female population of Boca Chica must be equal to or greater than 10!!!!!!!!! Plus I ain't too fussy about the pussy. Anything a 6 or better is fine with me. Let me get drunk enough and I have been known to snatch up a 4.

My spanish is the basic words and of course I know my numbers. I get by though. Actually I make people laugh at the way I try to communicate. I make an effort to learn a few words and how to pronounce them on each trip. The locals seem to like the fact that I am trying.

I won't be driving. I am not really interested in getting a DWI while in the DR.

Did you get a chance to make your latest report?It's not out yet and I'm not sure when it will be out (been busy.) I've already wrote a little on the Boca "comeback" on one thread and listed my trip itinerary on another. Unlike January, there were no baseball games and I didn't make it to Avenida Venezuela. Just (3) pool parties, a paddle boat party, a brief trip to Juan Dolio, and a movie in the capital over the 3 nights in DR.

I guess I could go into more detail in reference to the pool parties and the 2 teenaged girls who thought it was a good idea to "stowaway" on the "Whore Party Boat," but in many ways this trip wasn't much different from my March '05 trip (which is a good thing.)

Two of the three girls (big-breast-black-bikini and girl from the pair we found on Duarte) you saw me with Friday night were traded in the following day for 2 different girls (the friend of the brown-eyed girl and another regular.) I'm not sure who the "salon girl" is, there were a lot girls that Friday.
