BkBeas has been on 6 trips now and that has been since Dec 2002... in the next 3 months i will have been on 8 trips to the DR in a little less then 2 years... Addicted? maybe....
Well here's how it happened...
Over the last couple of weeks i have had a few arguments and fights with my current G/F from NYC and its really over stupid shit... I told her from the start that I go to the DR with my friends about 3 times a year for our Birthdays (which happened to be 4 months apart) ... so this is cool for us , the DR drug gets in our system just when we start getting depressed... Our planned trips were to be March, July, and November... this of course didnt work out how we planned to due different schedules and the urge to come back sooner then expected...
I have booked Nov 19-27 for my birthday/thanksgiving week... and planned on waiting till then to go back to heaven... due to the arguements which have led to breakup with my girl i decided due to peer pressure from guys posting on this site that sept would also make a nice time for a short 5 day trip.... I said hey lemme go check the prices... i looked at AA.com and they had a $260.90 fare from sept 17-21... i said that is way too cheap to let pass by ... so i booked it... ok now i have 2 trips in the next 4 months ... that should do me just fine... but no ... i cant wait... last friday my friend calls me up while im at work and he says hey" remember those buddy pass tickets i bought from our friend last year" im like yeah i do ... well they expire July31 so im going to DR tonight... you wanna come? Im like what?!?! im not packed im at work , i dont get home till 6:30 then im going to get a haircut... i try to make all the excuses... which includes i have 2 more trips coming in the next 4 months!!!... they dont work out ... i still went home got a haircut and i call my friend back at 7:40pm... im like where you at? he says he is about to leave for the 9;45pm jetblue flight to STI...Im like come pick me up ill be packed in 10 minutes... He says, Im on my way... I hurry up and get packed as fast as i can .. with a carry on only cause we are staying from late friday night 1:35am (sat) time we landed in STI...and we are coming home Monday early morning (taking the 2:30am Sunday night flight... I land in JFK at 6:15...Planned on working Monday but that never happened...
OK we land at STI 1:35am Saturday just after midnight... perfect time to hit clubs... so we get our things together and meet our friend outside... he picks us up with a jeep and a car with 3 of his friends... one girl which winds up going with a friend of mine... ( i was with 2 friends).. Myself and my friend say lets go to Illusions in STI... So we head on the road to Illusions about 15 minutes from the airport... still no room rented and still with our bags in the car... we head into Illusions in Santiago... I order a presidente the guys we are with get a bottle of Johnny Walker Black... I take a walk around this place which isnt how i expected it to be ... the girls are much less clingy then i expected ... they give you the EYES but they dont really make a move unless you set it off... there are about 20 or so girls in there ranging from a 5 to an 8.5...my friend grabs this nice one who he was with on his last trip and spoke to a couple of times on the phone...she says you friend quiere me friend ... in her best english translation... i said quien? (who) she tells me this is my friend... she was pretty nice so started talking with her ... seems that she is from Bogota Colombia and she tells me her fake name is __? (i forgot) and her real name is Kennedy or something that sounds like that... i just called her colombiana... she said she is here to go to school... im thinkin damn the schools in Bogota must really be shit to go to DR... so anyways i ask her how much for some take out... she says 3500 pesos... i ask my friend what his chica quoted him and he said 4500 i said fuck that i bet we can take them both for 3000 each ... i ask them... they think about it for about 10 seconds and say OK we go... we leave after they get changed and after we straighten out the bar bill (luckily BkBeas had 9000 pesos from his last trip because it came in handy)... we all get in the car and jeep and take off for a hotel in La Vega ( which is about 15-20 minutes from Santiago)kinda like the relation to POP and Sosua... We go to this hotel that my friend has stayed at before HOTEL REY but it is fully booked... FUCK .. we dont know of any other hotel but the guy tells us go down the road and make a right and a left and go to PEGUSES... we go there and they have 3 rooms no problem... this place is not bad for those that dont mind not having an air conditioner... its only 350 pesos for the night ...ceiling fan..clean room , queen size bed, got a couple of towels and soap when i asked for it... a tv and a small shower with hot water... i get in my room with colombiana and we both take turns in the shower... it was way too small to fit both of us... but we will be together shortly... We both get cleaned off and head to bed.. I get a friend of my friends novia to drive me to sosua and i take care of him with pesos and i buy the drinks the whole night out... i go to Sosua ( no clothes and no luggage ) its still in La Vega at Hotel Rey cause we planned on going back there... I finally get to Sosua at 1:30am and go into Classico ... its wack ... all tourists and a few ugly haitian girls ... about 30 people total in there ... i take one walk around and leave in 1 minute if that much... we head down to Latino club and it is packed... full of dominicans and a few tourists and no room to breathe... i take a walk around and pick up a few presidentes see a few girls i know or have been with but nothing i like really ... i finally see my girl from the last trip ... my notaputa who told me she was on vacation and she lives in santiago ... i told her i knew she was there since i left and she wasnt on vacation ... told her my friend told me he saw her with other guys and she is not my notaputa... she said she was sorry but she has no choice and i told her i wouldnt give her money ( before she asked me) so she has to support her kids... i told her well lets go and im not paying you nothing because you wanted me but not for money! Passions and Illusions look exactly the same... we grab a few presidentes and my friend picks a girl... he tells her he has 2000 pesos and all he wants is head in the back room... she says OK i can do that so he goes ... i go up to the Bar and ask for a presidente... this guy thinks im a stupid gringo and tells me 130 pesos i told him hold on... go back and ask the waiter how much a presidente is he tells me 60 pesos i go back to the bar and start yelling at him that i am not a stupid gringo and he is a dick basically he just felt like an asshole but honestly he didnt care... he tried to rob me for over double the right price!!... i got turned off and didnt really see anyone i wanted at this time .. i was tired and wanted to leave... my friend is done 15 minutes later and we get into the jeep and head to STI for our flight... Luckily one of the guys we are with works for the JetBlue terminal at STI so he gets us through everything with no waiting or nothing we check in and get on our flight back to America... I landed at 6:15 and called in sick to work ... told them i had pork chops last night and was sick i couldnt come in ... i went home and fell OUT!!
P.S. the pork chops were great sorry i dont know the name of the restaurant but i will try to find out later... they didnt make me sick by the way! noone at work even knows i went on this quick trip and noone will .... Of course i left out my lil trip through Jarabacoa but i think i told you guys a lot of shit within my short 2 day stay... i will be back in 5 or 6 weeks and more to come..

wow im in love....we finish and we fall asleep for a few hours... i wake up because the electric goes off and the generator doesnt kick in ... for a half hour im laying there hot as shit so i get up and tell the front desk and they have someone there to fix it already he just comes to my room and it is all fixed in 5 minutes... i tell them the shower water is cold and they fix that too ... good service...i told her it was time for her to go and i will see her tomorrow... i call my friend that has the car to pick me up and he didnt answer but my other friend said he was on his way to pick me up in a few dominican minutes... i head off to Rockys for breakfast and got a cheese omlelet toast and potatoes and a lemonade which is the best in DR by the way for 200 pesos including taxes and tips...i call my friend again and he doesnt answer so i take a walk down pedro clisante and see tons of chicas that i know and or have been with in the past... i stop by Leo's barbershop and get a straight edge shave and a shapeup for 100 pesos... walk by Passions but didnt go in because i was waiting for my friend and wanted him to find me so i can go back to Santiago and La vega to pack my shit later in the day...my friend is nowhere to be found so i go back to the room ... take another shower, shit and watch a lil TV... i check out at 1:30pm (checkout was 2pm)and walk to the palace.. i hang out at the lil store accross the street... i know this family now for 2 yrs and they are like friends to me... stop in the palace but noone except Soranji and another girl is there ... i tell her i dont have a room or i would show her a good time ... tell her i will be back in 6 weeks to see her again... and head down to the beach ... walk around for a few minutes and see my friend with the car and my other friend ... seems that they were looking for me all day on the beach and the friend with the car forgot what hotel i was staying at..anyways .. we leave and head to POP stopping off to meet my other friend and his family at Fun CIty (200 pesos for adults and 150 for kids to ride the go carts)hang out there for a while get a lil color on my face and drink a few presidentes... leave there after a few hours and go back to my friends families house and i want to shower... but there is no electric so no shower... all of a sudden it is like god answered my prayers and the lights go on ... everyone outside is screaming yayyyyyyyyyyyyy like they hit the lottery ... i grab a towel and go in and take the coldest shower ever but its better then nothing... we get our shit together head to meet the guy that lent us his jeep to return and go out before we leave for NYC... we go out at this nice restaurant i have pork chops, rice and beans and platinos ... my friends all get a nice dinner as well... its about 12 am now and we need to catch a 2:20 jetblue flight so we rush to Passions in STI to see if we can get a quickie before we go in one of the back rooms... Passions and Illusions look exactly the same... we grab a few presidentes and my friend picks a girl... he tells her he has 2000 pesos and all he wants is head in the back room... she says OK i can do that so he goes ... i go up to the Bar and ask for a presidente... this guy thinks im a stupid gringo and tells me 130 pesos i told him hold on... go back and ask the waiter how much a presidente is he tells me 60 pesos i go back to the bar and start yelling at him that i am not a stupid gringo and he is a dick basically he just felt like an asshole but honestly he didnt care... he tried to rob me for over double the right price!!... i got turned off and didnt really see anyone i wanted at this time .. i was tired and wanted to leave... my friend is done 15 minutes later and we get into the jeep and head to STI for our flight... Luckily one of the guys we are with works for the JetBlue terminal at STI so he gets us through everything with no waiting or nothing we check in and get on our flight back to America... I landed at 6:15 and called in sick to work ... told them i had pork chops last night and was sick i couldnt come in ... i went home and fell OUT!!
P.S. the pork chops were great sorry i dont know the name of the restaurant but i will try to find out later... they didnt make me sick by the way! noone at work even knows i went on this quick trip and noone will .... Of course i left out my lil trip through Jarabacoa but i think i told you guys a lot of shit within my short 2 day stay... i will be back in 5 or 6 weeks and more to come..
