Depending on how much you are looking to spend. You can try Howard Johnsons, in SPDM or Embassy Suites in Juan Dolio.

I hear there's minimal action there. More of a respite-type place.

San Pedro is a great place for guys that have some spanish knowledge and don't mind putting slightly more effort for a higher return.

You would be surprised how many chicas you can find downtown, at university or at a baseball game. Its a perfect compliment, if one is staying in BC and wanted to add some variety.
