For those of us that live in areas where it is extremely expensive to get to POP, here is an option. Skyauction.com. Just scored a flight to POP for $286. Works like this. Auction starts at $1 and then goes up until the end of auction. Have to get in on the end or else it is a little time consuming.
Also, watch out as there are additional fees in addition to the bid...taxes, an additional amount if you fly on Saturday or Sunday and a $15 processing fee. The $286 I paid included $125 in taxes and is good thru middle of December. When you want to fly, you submit dates for availabity so you have to be a little flexible or book well in advance.
