You all will have to meet me to be the judge of my character...although, I'm sure you will get alot to base all of your opinions on in the next week from the many trip reports from those who I party with today..

There will be plenty of other trips though...I'm going back to DR in early July, would like to hit either Brazil or Thailand in Sept/Oct..and back to DR for Thanksgiving..

I'm bringing the laptop, so I will try and keep you all posted!

3some has had funny posts since post #1. I dare someone to post they have never laughed at his honest humorous posts. If need be give him access to a 3some forum only. When was the last time we all had a good time with 3somes posts?

If you use the hosts mentioned, you won't have a problem posting pics. No need for thumbnails...they're REALLY annoying!

1) What is wrong with them? Why do you not like them? They are there for a purpose. They speed up downloading pages and take up less room when scrolling down to look for a particular post. If you are interested in a particular image you only have to click on it to enlarge to full size.

2) I can successfully include pictures by linking to photobucket or uploading direct from my local drive, but in both cases they appear as thumbnails in the ISOC threads. You seem to imply this can be avoided. How?

3) DonTomas is currently guiding me on including pictures in my recent trip report. I have a couple of hundred to include, about two fifths nude whores (though only a handful "porn" style), two fifths clothed whores and the rest general background stuff. DT advises best size and maximum size to be 640 x 480 and 50Kb max file size. Why cannot everyone stick to this? I hate having to scroll sideways for huge pictures. If the whole picture does not comfortably fit onto the screen at one time there is no point in having it so large, and it slows down my browsing the site and the unnecessarily large filesizes slow up the site for everyone else.

These are just my inexpert thoughts and I would be more than happy to be put right by anyone more knowledgable.

I hope to have posted all my pictures by the weekend but I need to sort the above issues out first as it will be a lot of work and I do not want to have to revisit it.

did something go wrong with 3some i havent seen anything on the boards yet but i see u guys are writing sounds like he had a bad time - i havent finished reading all these boards yet so maybe i iwll see some info just curious - and yey i def believe this board is about sharing and carig and if somoene was in trouble or had problems i would not doubt a second that isoc members would help out in DR

Think you have problems with the pages loading, well I have dial up. A good way to reduce the time for loading the pages is the reduce the picture size to 640 x 480. The reduction in picture size allows the pic to fit on the screen without have to scroll, but the best part is it reduces the kb size without a loss in quality.

A couple of threads I never actually read because there were just too many pictures of 1 meg or larger. With dial up I could go to work and return home to find the page still loading.

The key is to reduce the picture size to 640x480! I know it is more work but some photo software allows you to pick multiple photos and the software will resize them and rename them with one click with stll saving the original 1.something meg file.

It is the easiest thing in the world to edit what is between the QUOTE and UNQUOTE tags (as I have just done to yours, and I am the least techie guy here) including removing the pictures. If everyone did that it would speed up browsing a lot. Are these people too lazy or too stupid or what? [Now I am back in England I am reverting to my former Mr Grumpy persona]

they say you have to go nine days without alcohol to get it out of your system to see if your heading to be an alcoholic and its been 5 days now so i am 1/2 way there.
