Only one month and eight days are left before President Leonel Fernandez is scheduled to ride the Metro on its inaugural trip, yet the project is nowhere near completion. Hoy is even reporting that "La Feria" station, where Fernandez is supposed to make the "tour", isn't going to be ready for the 27 February inauguration and crews are working at full capacity in order to get the project to its basic stage of operation for that date. Hoy also reports that the Transport Reorganization Office (OPRET) has yet to test the train cars, which arrived in the DR three weeks ago.
