The Tax Department (DGII) has announced that as from the first week of February the Sworn Declarations for Wage-earners Retention Agents [Declaraciones Juradas Anuales del Agente de Retencion de Asalariados] (IR-13), and rectification options for the 2007 fiscal year will be reported online through the Social Security Treasury (TSS). This will be done once the declarations and payments for December have been processed. DGII implemented the digital program last year and it allows for declarations to be submitted from the comfort of home or business. Explanations for the steps for online declarations are published in today's major newspapers and can also be found in this PDF document on TSS's website (www.tss.gov.do/pdf/inst_ir13_v1-3.pdf (http://www.tss.gov.do/pdf/inst_ir13_v1-3.pdf)). The information must be submitted before 15 March.
