I wanted to change and add some profile info. I keep getting a message called invalid birthdate.

Am I doing something wrong?

You registered before a birthdate and year was required with this forum software. So you have a blank BD, PM me or post it here what you want, year included and I will update it and then you can change your regular profile info.
