A document presented to the Central Electoral Board (JCE) by Santiago and northern business associations is asking the institution to arbitrate and organize the May 16 midterm elections with transparency. The document requests that the electoral results be offered as soon as possible to avoid difficulties. It also calls out for austerity in the use of campaign resources.
