Here are pics that I took of the room that I stayed in at Club Residencial. The hotel is located on the corner of the street that the Palace is on. The rooms are actually setup like apartmnents which include a full size kitchen and fridge. You get 2 keys. One for the room and one for the gate in the front. The room cost $37 with tax. That price did not included A/C which would've been at least $10 extra. The $10 would get you another key to turn on the A/C, which is only available in the bedroom. There are ceiling fans in the bedroom and the living room.

Being that it was April and the temperature wasn't as hot as it would be later on in the year, I declined the A/C. Note that the prices are slightly more expensive in July and August and much more expensive between November and March.

There is also a bar/restaurant in the front of the hotel as well that serves a decent breakfast.

The hotel is chica friendly, however the chicas must leave her cedula with the receptionist if it's in the daytime or with the guard if it's at night. You have mostly families staying there so monger parties would be frowned upon.

The pics were from room 9 in building E.

Club R is nice. I have not stayed there yet, but I have seen several of the apartment rooms there while visiting others. Very nice.

Thank you Mr. Dawson.

I stayed there my last trip and its a decent place. They do not allow more than one girl at a time. And families are all over the place during the day so they like you to be a little discrete when bringing in the ladies.

Is he still around?

That's Jose. He was there most nights my last trip......usually hanging out on the sidewalk or leaning against the bar watching the TV. Real nice guy.

Guess I am going to John's

Good report, DD. It will certainly be my first choice if I stay in Sosua.

Keep uploading the thumbnails, by the way. Worth it just to annoy the Jayman. Pity we cannot resize him to a thumbnail, he might be more controllable. And think how much he would save on alcohol drinking only miniatures.

Those pics have brought good memories as I stayed there last time. A great place IMO, with the only drawback of not being allowed to take more than 1 girl at once.

The night guard was a good guy.

What I found out was that if you were to buy a condo there, the management would like to have it back during high season so that they can make money on it, and you also I guess, but that defeats the whole purpose of having a condo doesn't it!!

I didn't know you could buy one of those condos... but if there are restictions of use regarding dates, etc, I wouldn't buy it anyway.

The apartments were very nice: spacious and clean.
