Has anyone ever heard of or booked villas through Sunny Villa Holidays? I'm thinking about booking a villa and i just want to make sure that they are official.

Thanks,

They are official, but you can get much cheaper rates dealing with the owner's directly or other management company's.

Post the name of the complex you are interested in, and I will send you in the right direction.

We were interested in Sea horse Ranch Ocean View (Six Bedroom Villa) or any other nice looking villas/condos that can accomodate 6 guys.

Thanks

Not a bad view for $2,700/night!

Is it normal to prepay 50% -100% on a condo/villa rental or should I be a little skeptical when asked to do that by an agent?

Thanks guys!

On high end places i would say yes. 50%. But i would only do it on a credit card. Contact MisterPink by PM. He knows many of the agents around Sosua.

Most owner's and reputable broker's want a deposit if you are a newcomer.

Who want's a 50% deposit, post here, I do not do PM's!

SeaHorse Ranch is over a Grand a night, of course they want a deposit.

Thanks!

MP,

Can you tell me anything about Rimma from Sunny Villa Holidays and Florence from Villas Brigitte Beach Resort? I have been speaking with both about renting villas.

Thanks!

Sunna Villa Holidays has a decent reputation, BUT you will pay more because they are working for commission and the owner NOT you.

I know nothing about Villas Brigitte.

Try searching DR1.com, as well, for more information.

whenever i go to Sosua i always stay at Casa Linda Villas. they are not on the beach but for ~$100US/day you get a 2 bedroom villa with a private pool and the place is VERY chica friendly as long as you're not having wild parties or the like. You won't have to bribe any guards or anything but they will ask to see the girls id.

They are on the other side of the main highway, away from the beach, on the outskirts of town heading toward Caberette. You would definitely need a rental car but its only a 5 minute drive to the heart of Sosua from there or about 10 minute drive into Caberette.

The villas are very clean and if you want privacy or want to be able to get in a pool naked with your chica then i would highly suggest Casa Linda.

And no I don't work for Casa Linda i'm just another fellow mongerer like you who has found a great place to stay when in Sosua.

your post is accurate...casa linda is a main stay for me and my wingmen, we tried about "the palms condo's" our last trip. it was decent the loud construction going on at 6 in the morning was a pisser though

but we are headed back home to casa linda going forward :) casa linda is awesome!!! it doesnt get any better than the poolside fun at casa linda in the summer time.

I have dealt with Rimma. She arranged a 3 week rental on a Villa for me. I paid everything up front, had no issues on arrival. Everything went smooth.
