View Full Version : A newbie's SD experience

I was in SD on Easter weekend and here are a few notes:

1) I arrived early afternoon on Thursday and quickly was through customs/immigration; I had pre-arranged ground transportation to the Hilton through Expedia with Caribe; There were distinctive green uniforms all over the arrivals area and I was quickly on my way; This option is only about $25 each way;

2) After checking in I decided to explore some of the areas described in the forums; I have to admit that thanks to some of Cheeno's photo maps I almost had a sense of deja vu as I walked the same paths....lol

3) I called Prtyr2 later in the day as he had offered to show me some of the sights; We met up along El Conde and then he proceeded to take me around to Doll's House, Tabu and then Jaragua. The approaching holiday on Friday definitely drained the city of chicas and I returned to the hotel more knowledgeable but unsated; I did appreciate the time he took and he was a good guy to spend some time with;

4) On Friday I decided to steal a page from Cheeno; I woke up early and was at the little cafe across from the rear entrance to Jaragua by 6:30 AM; By 7:30 AM I was on my way back to the hotel with a cute little chica that had just finished her shift at the casino. (Leita - 2 hours for 1500 pesos) The rest of Friday was a very slow day in SD; I enjoyed a good lunch and an even better dinner (the seafood buffet at the Hilton on Fridays is about $40 but it is exceptional) Even the casinos were closed so I decided to head to bed early and be ready for an active Saturday;

5) I slept in on Saturday morning and returned to the little cafe across from the rear entrance to Jaragua by 10 AM; I walked down to the Aurora and had an hour session with Marisol (1200 pesos); She is not a hottie but had a great attitude and good skills and it was a good way to start the day; I then went back to El Conde and ended up meeting a French guy who has been in the DR for quite some time; He showed me around and I ended up spending time with a girl that he knew (600 pesos - locals definitely know how to negotiate and I understand now why they get pissed when newbies like me overpay and make it more difficult for them); I went back to the hotel around 9 PM and then hit Girl's House; It reminds me of a North American strip club and was definitely not my type of scene; I walked back to my hotel with the intention of seeing if there were any chicas in the casino. As I entered the lobby I noticed three little hotties sitting on a couch; The doorman winked and gave me a thumbs up; My first selection got right to the point and asked for $200...I laughed and then pulled out 2,000 pesos and waved it at my second choice as I walked past; She got up, followed me and we agreed on 2 hours for 2,000 pesos. I did the walk of shame to the front desk and off we went; She was an 8 and had all of my favourite features; Her name was "Pamela" (I must admit that I did not look at her document at the front desk to see if this was truly her name or not)

6) I closed my bill at the hotel (no chica fee was on the bill) and left at noon for the airport; Once again Caribe's service was great; They arrived as promised and it was an easy ride; I decided that overall it was a great holiday and that I would return; I would not stay at the Hilton again, mainly due to the location; El Conde is my type of area and the Riazor seems to me to be the place I would stay the next time. The bottom line is that there are some beautiful women in SD and aside from being reasonably priced they are both plentiful and easy to make arrangements with;

Great report Mark, thanks for taking the trouble to post. We appreciate it.

What did you not like about the Girl's House? I am a non-drinking, fairly shy and unsociable type. I have never been in a strip club in my life but I liked the Girl's House. I thought the selection of chicas was the best I had seen in the DR (not so heavily made up as at Cristal), and I liked the fact it was comfortable and well-lit so you could actually see the goods. I also think that the music was not deafening, though I may have misremembered. The only thing I didn't like was the prices but it seemed a pleasant place to spend a couple of hours window-shopping while making a couple of drinks last a long time.

Weyland...

Strip clubs in North America tend to offer teasing but no pleasing; I know that pleasing is available are Girl's House but to get to that you have to endure the things I most hate about strip clubs:

1) Champagne room or VIP room where you get hustled for "special" dances.

2) The girls are constantly on the hunt for guys who want to spend money and they are not interested in simply chatting and flirting.

3) The loud music where a conversation would be impossible even if one of the girls did pause to talk.

Thanks Mark. It must have changed since I went there. That was nearly two years ago. I would hate those things as well.

That would get on my nerves real quick, too.

A cab ride is around $30 to $35 USD so you saved yourself some money. :biggrin:

I'm glad you found the maps helpful. :biggrin:

prtyr2 is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. But he's a Mets fan. :wink:

I agree with you--the seafood buffet is indeed exceptional. But the Asian cruisine buffet was so-so. Too bad the casino was closed.

It looks like you picked up a very nice chica. ;)

No chica fee at the Hilton? They used to charge $26 USD plus 26% for a guest fee.

Thank you for sharing your trip report with us!!! :biggrin:

Yes, Marisol.
This was my first Pfp chica. Not a hottie but great attitude and got the job done for a newbie anyways.
