Installment #1: HarborView Condominiums - Puerto Plata

Two weeks of sun and fun have come and gone. I arrived home last night, though it feels more like a just left home last night. I really do enjoy the D.R.. I even looked at a few homes, just to get a feel for the real estate, in case I win the lottery.

I have a few adventures to share, as my trip was not anything like I planned nor expected, but I'll spread it out over several posts as I get time to write and recap.

The first week of my two-week trip, I was booked into HarborView Condominiums. I was met at the airport, as promised, by Billy Lane. White tee-shirt and red ball-cap as promised. I didn't need to remember, though, as he picked me out of the crowd quickly. I must really look like the stereotypical Canadian tourist. An American from Boston also arrived at the same time and Marco and I ended up spending considerable time together. Billy gave us a short tour around Puerto Plata, and then to the Harbor View Condominiums. I had intended to meet up with a lady I met last trip and, as it turned out, Marco had similar plans with a very sweet young thing from a previous trip of his.

Well, both ladies definitely worked on Dominican time, not American. After several calls and waiting around for a couple of hours, Billy gave us our first lesson in how to deal with the local chicas. On my behalf he phoned up my lady and told her she had 1/2 an hour and then we were all going out to Sosua to look for new ladies. Period!! And he hung up!!!

Well, 20 minutes later in she prances like nothing had happened and we settle in for a few days/nights of relaxation. Bueno!!! Lesson #1 completed. Thank you, Billy, mi maestro!!

Actually, one could not ask for a better tour-guide or mentor if new to the D.R. Billy is full of sanguine advice and knowledge. I know I frustrated him a few times, as I am one of those people who learns best from his own mistakes, not so much by listening to others. Still, being forewarned is being forearmed, and I was never surprised when Billy's predictions came true...and he has the scene down to a science...trust me. Oh, and Billy, you were right again...she took my cheapo cell-phone to give to her sister. I don't mind, and thanks to your advice I had pre-deducted its value from her parting gift. So she earned it!!!

One great thing about the trip was Billy's home-style cooking. Large, 3-egg American-style breakfasts every morning, and some amazing dinners too. At reasonable prices!!! During my second week, I drove back from Sosua just for breakfast a couple of mornings. You also have to try his cheesecake. Superb!!!! And the chicas were having oral orgasms right at the bar with every mouthful. I think I had to change my underwear, just from watching those beautiful, sensual ladies make love to that cheesecake.

I'll tell you this right now...the next time I go to the D.R., I'm staying at HarborView Condominiums in Puerto Plata the whole time. The rooms are great, the food amazing, and the advice and comaraderie superb!! And the location is actually quite convenient overall. The motoconcho drivers know it by sight...just show them Billy's card with a picture of the pink castle on the mountain and you're home, even without any Spanish.

Lesson #2...If you have a cell phone, hide it. And if you have a cell phone on a plan...leave it at home. The chicas can home in on a phone with minutes on it like well-trained scenthounds. If they had ever got my Canadian cellphone I would be in the poor house. I learned to only purchase minutes 100 pesos at a time...the phone will be empty of minutes when you want to use it anyway, no matter how many you purchase. Billy said that you can get local cellphones for about 700-800 pesos. My lady bought mine for me, and it cost me 1000 pesos, including some unknown number of minutes which she had used up prior to surrendering it to me. Claro vs. Orange...Claro seemed to have the most consistent reception...my novia actually switched while I was there (yeah, I bought her the new SIM card).

Stay tuned...much more to come...

P.S. to Weyland. You also were right. It is NOT cheaper to "wife" up, especially when your novia is a smart player like mine. But it is a whole different experience and I was fortunate enough to have time in both modes...monger mode and wifed up.

Sure we sat at the bar together a couple of times. Not news!! Other than that, the only thing I saw of you was your back as you escorted some of the prettiest talent on the island to and from your room. You've got the eye for the pretties, my friend, I'll grant you that.

Installment #2: Adventure to the Campos
Monger warning - no chica content in this installment!!

So I've had a couple of fairly relaxing days...my novia takes off around 10:00 each morning and returns around 6 or 7 at night. She has her clothing business to attend to, and her partner needs help. I like the break. Marco and I headed went for a walk one day, and got quite lost. We estimate we walked about 8 miles by the time we got back. It was a good time, and I think we found some of the best and worst areas of Puerto Plata. But it was daylight, and I frankly felt much safer than in downtown Edmonton, L.A., Boston, or a number of other places I've been. The people were always friendly and helpful, even though I have nearly no Spanish.

Another day, we took the afternoon off and headed to Blackbeard's. There were only a couple of chicas there for the mid-afternoon. Both were stunning and friendly. We had several drinks before returning to our Novias for the night. Marco's didn't show, so he went out whoring with Billy and, I believe, Corrado. I stayed in and awoke in the morning around 4:30am or 5:00am to the most beautiful wistful music I've heard in my life. It gradually got louder until I finally dragged myself out of bed and looked out the window. There, on the Avenue de Circumnavigacion, or whatever it's called, only a block below my bedroom, was a procession of well over a thousand people singing in Spanish. In retrospect, I believe it was a recreation of the journey of Christ to his crucificion. I'm not very religious, though, so I may have the details wrong. I lay awake and listened to this wonderful, soothing, melodic and superbly delightful singing for another hour before it had completely faded away as the procession passed out of sight.

My novia had been making excuses about needing to go home to the San Francisco area for several days now, so we decided to make the trip. Up at 5:00 am, and out the door. Taxi to the Caribe Tours bus. It was full, so we got to sit six across the back (designed for 4) with Jeitme's 2-year-old son, Daryy across our laps. The bus went to Santiago (1.5 hours) at which point we transferred to another. It, in turn, went another 2 hours to where I don't know. We got off and Jeitme hustled me over to a Gua Gua, the first of three. Two more hours of Gua Guas and we're standing on a gravel road with no traffic at all, so we start walking. 15 minutes later a Motoconcho comes by (apparently it's the only one on the road) and we're off...Concho driver, baby, Jeitme and myself falling off the back of the bike. That was the longest 10 minutes of my life, trying to stay on the back of the bike with my ass hanging off the end, over the roughest gravel roads I could imagine. But finally we got to her village!!!

Well, she wasn't making up excuses!!! Her grandmother HAD died and people were coming from everywhere to pay their respects. Huge wreaths were placed around her grandmother's picture. On Jeitme's request, I sat with her and everyone who came through shook my hand (and half of them cried on my shoulder), and uttered appropriate condolences to me about my loss, all in Spanish, of course, which I don't understand. Apparently I had been adopted into the family (this is getting scarey), and although I couldn't pick up many of the words, it seemed to me that Novio and Esposo were being interchanged more and more frequently. Jeitme's mother seemed to be the biggest culprit. Perhaps because Jeitme's no spring chicken by D.R. standards (Jeitme is in her mid 30's), her mother was trying to hasten things along.

I was treated like royalty, and after having promptly forgotten the names of 7 Tias (Aunts), 7 Tios (Uncles), two brothers, three sisters, Jeitme's mother and father, it was time to eat. All afternoon they had been brewing up some concoction in a cauldron suspended over an open fire. As the older aunts tended it, I kept thinking to myself of nursery stories of witchcraft and ugly old witches encanting spells over a boiling cauldron. Every so often one of the ladies would go over and stir it...it could even have been laundry for all I knew. Nope...it was the FEAST!!! 40 pounds of rice, some beans, a scrawny chicken, some seasoning and mystery vegetables, too cooked down to recognize. Enough for the whole village!! As two men carried it into the kitchen, I did understand as one of them said to the other, in Spanish, "Don't drop it...it's worth a small fortune". As seemingly the guest of honour, I was asked to sit and was served first; a mighty large plate piled far too high. Luckily, it was quite tasty and I didn't find myself involuntarily doing anything rude. Then the rest of the men joined me and we ate heartily, all of us telling stories, even me. I understood not a word they said, and vice versa, but they listened intently as I told my story too. I suspect they were talking about the departed grandmother, but as I had not met her, I talked instead of my first night at Cristal's. They couldn't understand me anyway.

Later I had the opportunity to wander around the village more, and went over to Jeitme's father's house. Her sister cut me down a Coco nut, sliced it open, and I had my first taste of Coco milk, and Coco flesh. Yumm...it was like candy and the children were all jealous until they got one too. I called it a coconut, but was corrected. Only Coco. Idunno, I'm a city boy from the Great White North.

Now this is definitely third world. Most have no power, and none have running water. I watched while children are bathed and laundry cleaned in a slow-running creek, and water is carried from there too. I went to carry some water from the creek to "flush" with, and was chastised. Jeitme would not have her man carrying water...so picture this 85 pound lady carrying two five gallon plastic pails of water back to the house while I guiltily followed, hands in pockets.

Compared to the rest of the village, I think Jeitme's dad is quite well off. He has a about 1 1/2 acres enfrente the creek, three goats, a horse, a dozen (well, only eleven now) chickens and several Coco palm trees. They even have an old 12" T.V. set that gets only one channel, and a light bulb that works. I'm not sure where the power comes from. In retrospect, it seems odd that Jeitme could complete her grade 12, but the picture are proudly displayed of her and her sisterseach in their graduation smock and hat.

Now carrying around a 2-year-old all day can be tiring, so I carried Daryy much of the way back. It was amazing to see and feel the difference in attitude towards me from the local population. Even though I spoke no Spanish I was no longer a Gringo, there to fuck their women and leave babies behind. I was taking responsibility for my handiwork (no, he's not mine, but they didn't know that). The Gua Gua drivers were offering me beers, giving me high fives, etc. Space was made on the bus, and the general attitude improved a lot. Hmmm...food for thought. But it was late, and we missed the last bus from Santiago and had to catch a GuaGua from there to Puerto Plata. Jeitme declared (at 10:00pm) that it was too late for her to cook supper, so I agreed to buy supper at Portofino (she loves taking the leftover pizza to the lady who babysits her child, so I always order a large). Onto the MotoConcho we go...baby, Jeitme and me hanging my butt off the back end again. I insisted on a taxi back to spend the night, and although Daryy was well-behaved, I also insisted that she find a sitter in the future. I'm too old for a two-year-old on anything but day-visit frequency.

What a day!!! And what an experience!!! I am forever amazed at how strong family is among the Dominicans, and how happy these people are. They have nothing, but seem to want little more than family. Methinks the ambitious ladies found in Puerto Plata / Sosua may be more the exception than the rule.

Now the 9th day of mourning is important in this culture, and the 9th day of Jeitme's grandmother's death fell on Easter Sunday. She was missing her family, and since Peter had PM'ed me and promised me that La Passions would be open for business and encouraged me NOT to bring a date for Semana Santa, I encouraged her to go back to her family for Semana Santa and her grandmother's 9th day.

I'm now free for the next four days...and I'm gonna do me some mongering...of course, in the next installment.

This is wonderful stuff. Last summer I found myself in the campo outside of San Francisco De Marcoris. The rice fields were about 50 feet from the house. The view was green and lush. The family who was amazed with this black guy who spoke english pull out their DVD player that they literally had to had crank to get going. We watched skanky panky in spanish and the damn machine kept cutting off and needing to be restarted. It was real homey and down to earth, but I was bored as all get up. I was happy to leave the campo and head to the civilized environs of Santiago.

I thought I started this in the "DR Trip Reports" section...not the pictures section.

Somehow they point to the same place, depending on how you navigate. Mea Culpa...it's in the wrong place.

Moderator, please help!!!! I would appreciate this thread to be moved out of the pictures section, as I will only disappoint the masses here with my abundance of text and lack of pictures.

Are you referring to the shy flaca girl? If so, she was Marco's favourite for his remaining nights. She's not yet a pro, but if Marco hadn't forbade me, I'd have tried to make her one...she was very nice.

Sorry about your night...she was absolutely stunning, as were all your ladies while I was there. But the two of you were absolutely angry come morning. I just assumed she didn't deliver...and so only got paid for services (not) rendered. There's a reason that we should never pay in advance...they may waste our time, but they have to earn what's in our wallets.

My condolenses (sp) for your novia's grandmother...truly...

...but could you be less National Geographic - PBS - Discovery Channel -esque in this pictureless report.

As an admitted rookie - I still think these first two installments of this Travel Channel report could have been posted elsewhere...

...save this section for eye popping photos and hardcore advice on the game in Sousa.....please.

Great tip on phone in first part of this Hallmark Series report.

Man, who made you read it ? Just don't read it anymore...

As you said, you're a newbie. After a couple of years, you'll probably be really tired of seeing the same old tired hardcore Sosua's bitches you seem to love so much. Don't forget that there is more than Sosua and the 15-20 putas we always see here. And, also, a lot of members here would like to read the rest of his report.

Mr Terrierist, please continue your report, I find it interesting and I enjoy reading it.

Thank you all !

Another thing CJack, it's spelled SOSUA and if you need anymore tips on mongering there than what is already on the board, you have a problem.

Am I the only one here who is tired with the endless Sosua conversations on the board ? Fuck, nothing there has changed since 10 years, all you need to know has already been posted.

Let the guy who do more than Sosua share their stories, please.

Thank you.

Terrierist:

Keep posting, to hell with the naysayers. I like the information, its all about your experience. Like I posted in my last socalled report myself, there are no Rules. I enjoyed the family in the campo as well on occasion, it makes for a great experience.

Again, share your experience, and if others don't like, read a different post.

I suspect they were talking about the departed grandmother, but as I had not met her, I talked instead of my first night at Cristal's. They couldn't understand me anyway.

Hey Terrrierist ...     I damned near fell off my chair when I read this.

Don't let the naysayers mess with you .... this is amongst the best reports I've read here yet. Your insight and humor are outstanding.

In the first half of your trip you took chances, and did things that some guys with 20+ trips havn't done.

Reading this is getting me sooooo wound up for my April 15 trip!!!

I find this intermission caused by anothers lack of respect to be quite frustrating. Please do continue!!!!

Carolinajack, et al ... you don't have to read it ... Terrierist has done things already in this report that I've not even yet dreamt of, and I'm sure that many of us want to hear the rest of the story!!!

You might want to pay attention to Terrierist ....you might actually learn something more than a pictorial lesson in anatomy and gynocology!!! (Some of us already know where to find the chicas "girl parts").

If you can't say something nice ....

Great report!! Actually, I would like to see some picts of the places you went to. And some picts of the females would be a plus!! We all know what the main focus of this site is. Pictures are important in any report. They bring it to life. I, personally, do like reading these "off the beaten path" reports. Mr Weyland's reports are some of my favorites. And he ALWAYS has lots of fun photos. I do "off the beaten path" things every time I go to the DR and recommend it highly. Lots of adventure!! Thanks for the report. Continue on! Fun reading. Good style.

Man I can deal with anyone bustin' my chops on one thing or another...WE ALL get our balls brokin' over one thing or another...be it work...family...kids..etc...

...but you're killing me over S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G...LMAO.

What can I say...I was watching the Carolina/Louisville game and was rooting hard for LOUISVILLE (their point guard SOSA is from NYC - saw him play as a junior and senior here) - anyway between game and just trying to get my thoughts down...I screwed it up:( ...

...interesting - you'll break my balls for spelling...but have no problems with a picture report that has NO PICTURES...

...to sum up what I thought was a great (pictureless) report by Balcoach...eveyone has different styles - don't let others discourage you from doing your thing...

Thanks, Dick. Please move to DR - Other Cities. This account is not about any one particular place. It spans Puerto Plata, Sosua, San Francisco, etc. which is why I mistakenly started it under "DR - Trip Reports".

For those who want pictures...there aren't any of interest that I am prepared to share. I have some personal photos of the families I met, but they are of no interest to mongers, and nothing I would post. I am not a National Geographic reporter and go for an experience, not to hide behind a camera.

I don't know, she was well proportioned to me. She was from Yellow Beards, brown skin, beautiful smile. The guy at the bodega around the corner tried to up the price on beer when Marco stopped that night, but she made him come down to the "Dominican Price". It is a funny story but she has to tell it.

The one you are talking about is La madre de mi bambina. Angry does not begin to describe her mood. But that is another story for our next meeting.

The chica from my last night in the DR you did not see, she left late night/ early morning. We agreed to TLN.....I told her I did not speak Spanish and had Billy give her the terms. After 10-15 min. of grown folks business, she says she has to leave to feed her 3 month old baby.........and she would be back :rofl::rofl:, after she fed him. To make a long story short she ends up outside with a couple hundred pesos, far short of her negotiated fee. I have nothing better to do than poke a hornets nest, so when the night watchman knocks on my door and says the girl refuses to leave I come out to play with her.

He says she wants DR 1000 more and I laugh so hard I shoot a snot rocket. Marco comes out and plays the sympathetic role. She tells the watchman and Marco (in Spanish) I fucked the dog shit out of her, choked her out, stole her money, and then put her out. She goes on for a while thinking I have no idea what she is saying. After a little bit I yell out Habladora!! and curse her out for every lie she has told on me. She calls me a lier for saying I could not habla, and says that proves I am a bad man. She says she will call the police on me, then I tell her to dial 911 and press send..........silence, then more arguing. She then says she is going to have a hit squad light me up ....So I tell her to call them up and have them come over before I go to sleep because I am really tired. It was so much fun messing with her, it was more fun than the little bit of sex we had.

It was so much fun messing with her, it was more fun than the little bit of sex we had. Any chance u took a bit of her so we can avoid this one?

And what would u have done if she did come back with a posse? I think you would have been better off to just ignore the bitch and let billy have done the talking, or just ignored her completely and sooner or later she would have to leave. By you confronting her, i bet that only made her more angry and it fed the fire.

Some of these chicas are starting to think they can get 1500 pesos just by sitting in a mans room for 15 minutes and having their tits touched constitutes a completion of the act and demand payment.

There has been some sad stories of late on this forum from mongers bitching about their chicas under performing and trying to skip out and still get paid.

Kind of discuraging news considering i was coming there in less then a couple of weeks time. :(

Installment #3: No wifey, time to monger

As I said before, my lady had to work during the week, so Marco and I had time to get into a little bit of fun. Marco is an Elvis impersonator, and wanted to put on a little show, so down to Cristal's we go. He has Raquel from Yellowbeards in tow to see his act..he gets dressed up in his Elvis costume and we enter Cristals...nice and early...to get permission and set up. Well, all seemed well with me until...OMG, it's Stefani! She runs across the room and all but mounts me right there where I stood. "Remember me", she says..."Stefani!!!!" On my last trip, this was the girl that turned me into a man. I had no idea that a woman could do what she does, or that I could keep up without serious injury. And yet I did, and had the ride of my life. GFE plus PSE plus a great attitude and endurance and pleasant-looking to boot. My God, she's all that AND a bag of chips!!! I had meant to look her up this trip, but she spotted me first and over she came. Well, Mr. Wiggly remembered her well and it wasn't many seconds before willpower came tumbling down and I let Stefani take me directly upstairs to remind me of what I had been missing. And remind me she did!! Gentlemen, for this one time I apologize for not being able to post a picture, but Stefani is a must-do at Cristal's. We came back about an hour later, as I was supposed to film Marco's Elvis impersonation. Even though she was officially a free agent, Stefani stayed and played with me at Cristal's until I left around midnight...and I had a fabulous evening petting, flirting and playing with her all night at the club...what a great girl!!! The others all tug at my heart, but with this one I'm truly lost and in lust!!

Now the Elvis thing went a little strange as the D.J. couldn't get the music to work...Marco's signature number is Blue Suede Shoes, and the D.J. refused to play it. Still, it's fun to watch the girls rush the stage at the end of the songs. But Marco was bummed out for not being able to perform his signature number, and sent Raquel back to Yellowbeards unused. Shame, 'cuz she's lots of fun, a mighty fine looking filly, and Marco claims she gives good service, even if she tended to leave in the early morning. Hey, you don't have to buy her breakfast, so that's not all bad!!!

So I get back home just after midnight and Jeitme is mad...She sells clothes to many of the working girls and is thus very well connected with the girls at La Boheim, Cristals, and elsewhere. Somehow I've been ratted out and the whole esposa argument ensues. Drama ... tears ... Oh shit ... well I'm not getting any more tonight, but that's OK. I slumber off with thoughts of the amazing Stefani still fresh. Hell that one memory will keep me going for a month.

Friday morning Jeitme leaves back for San Francisco and I leave for the TradeWinds in Sosua. It's Good Friday, but that's OK. I PM'ed Peter a week earlier and he assured me that La Passions would be open, just low-key. He said to just look him up and he'd help me get set up right. So we arrive at La Passions around 4:00. There are only three people there, and one is cleaning the place. WTF?? Buddy says it's closed!!! So Marco asks if he can at least film the place. He says yes. So he takes a quick breeze around the empty bar with his movie camera when this Chica comes screaming at him from behind the pool, calling him a pervert and a bunch of other things that would make a whore blush, I'm sure. Luckily for me I speak little Spanish, or I'm sure I would have been offended. We left La Passions unceremoniously. No Peter, no girls, no ISOC members, no fun!!!! And my love affair (sarcastic) with Sosua begins. It's Samana Santa...things are slow...Peter did NOT come through as promised and closed La Passions, and I've cut my Novia free for the weekend. SHIT!!!! Now for most mongers, that's not a big thing, but my Spanish isn't ready for a pick-up and I've been banking on hooking up and meeting my brethren ISOC mongers here. Still, I remember that girls sometimes troll through The New Garden so we drop by for a bite to eat. And surely a nice looking lady does appear. I chat her up, successfully, which proves she IS a whore, as I have to be more lame than Daffy Duck when it comes to being clever in Spanish. But Marco wants to leave as he is dateless and we aren't into sharing. He talks briefly to the chica in Spanish and then we split back to Puerto Plata. Clearly Sosua and all my plans for the weekend are dead tonight.

To Puerto Plata and Yellowbeards...Raquel looks beautiful...another girl Marco likes (a very pretty and sweet flaca one) lives close by, and Rosi was still willing to rub my parts with her foot under the table. Yummy!!!! In the end, I borrow Marco's car...he takes his girl back to Billy's and I take Rosi to Sosua with me. La Passions may have failed me, but I've only two weeks and I will NOT be alone, not even for one night. And Rosi was looking pretty fine.

And Rosi stayed.... I drove her back to Puerto Plata and had breakfast at Billy's...and she stayed. I rented my own car...and she stayed...we all went to the Playa Sosua and had fun at the beach...and she stayed. I was clear that I wanted her "todo la noche", but it seems she also was good el dia entero as long as she didn't get too bored. We went back to my room mid afternoon...and the doorbell rang.

It was the girl from The New Garden. Apparently Marco (who has some Spanish) had arranged for her to come over later, and frankly I'd have been fine with that. But Rosi was not in a sharing mood and quickly dispatched the competition. I don't know her name, but she was pissed.

Now I'm not a bad man, and I treat the girls overly fairly, and probably with far more respect than most here. To me they are far more than just pussy, and I really like to get to know my ladies and to make their time with me as pleasant as I hope they will make my time with them. But due to no fault of my own I'd been run out of La Passions and pissed off the chica network at The New Garden. FUCK!!! not SHIT!!! FUCK!!!! SOSUA must really hate me!!!!

But Rosi is a good time, and I just love the way she likes to snuggle close all night, always touching. It is great. She takes me to the Supermercado...I buy some food...and she's cooking for me too!!! She insists!!! I tell her I cannot afford to keep her any longer and am taking her home Sunday...she gets sulky and pouts. I guess business is slow Easter Sunday, and so she finally says stay with me anyway as we drive out of Sosua. I buy her an expensive bikini (around 1000 pesos and she looked amazing in it) and I consider the score settled for another day...Sunday on the Playa at Sosua. Now it's busy there...and expensive...but there's nothing like Cervezas, sand, beautiful chicas in bikinis to lay beside and occasionally fondle, and sun to set a man's heart at ease. I had previously tested Rosi, like I test all my girls, and gave her my watch, wallet and cell phone to hold when I went for a swim. She was honest with my watch and my wallet...always.

I come back and she's talking on my phone...more minutes wasted...but when she sees me, she says it's for me. I take the phone and ... damn ... it's Jeitme!!!! Rosi's been telling her she's been fucking me and Jeitme is muy furioso!!! Remember that Jeitme is not a puta, and I do not pay her for her attention...at least directly. Now Rosi's a fun girl, if a bit manipulative, but I care for Jeitme and this is no more fun. I'm in trouble again. Sosua tightens its grip upon me like a BOA Constrictor, determined to squeeze every last bit of joy and fun out of the week.

I check the phone later that night and find out that there was an outgoing call to Jeitme earlier. Did Rosi call Jeitme??? Well, I could have gotten mad right there and then, but then I'd be alone one more night. So I kept Rosi overnight...I'd already paid for the night with the expensive bikini. She is good in the cama and a nice warm snuggle. Monday morning, Semana Santa over, I drove her home, though we stopped for breakfast at Billy's, just long enough for me to eat and him to give her an attitude-changing tongue-lashing. Billy Lane really gets it, and he didn't even yet know why Rosi had such attitude. She was feeling mighty good about herself, thinking she'd driven Jeitme off, I guess, and secured more of my wallet for herself. Billly, you're my idol, my hero!!!

I drive back to Sosua and decide to monger solo. I've been dreaming of La Passions for a long time, so I go straight there. Mid afternoon!!! I walk in...half a dozen chicas talking around the bar...no action...I stand around for four or five minutes, not knowing where to sit as there are no other guys there. Finally I sit down and before I can order a drink another guy walks in. The girls FLOCK to him. OK, I don't quite know what happened when I was here on Friday with Marco, but it appears I'm persona-non-grata (not welcome) at La Passions. And I haven't yet seen a single girl, said a single word or had an opportunity to drink a single beer. Fuck!!! All I wanted was a legendary SOAPIE and a nice girl to take home for the evening. But they won't even talk to me. Peter, if you're reading, please tell me what happened. I just don't get it. La Passions was why I went to Sosua!!

So I decide to make up with Jeitme. And after several hours of Spanglish 'splaining she's again willing to cook for me...but no sex just yet. So off I go to the strip at SOSUA, with Jeitme back at my suite. I'm pissed off, and wired!!!! I drop in yet again at La Passions...I'm a slow learner, I guess...it's just after midnight. This time a nice young lady...I think her name was Mary...sits with me and I buy her a drink. But she has no English, and it takes too much effort for me to even make small talk, for which I have no patience tonight anyway. My mood is foul and it's not the lovely Mary's fault so I give her 100 pesos for the 10 minutes we sat in near silence sharing a drink...at least she acknowledged my existence, and for that I am grateful. I beg off and head down the strip. I get back to the condo about 3 in the morning and nod off. Hey, at least I wasn't threatend with being mugged or robbed...yet!!

Stay tuned...there's still more to come.

Ah yes...the one from Yellowbeards. That would be Raquel. I wish that Rosi (also from Yellowbeards) hadn't cornered me quite so well, as I would have liked to try her. She is muy hermosa to my eye and Marco spoke well of her skills en la cama, though she didn't tend to stay 'til breakfast.

Actually, my bills at Yellowbeards were the best of my trip...I was charged Dominican prices...no gouging the Canuck there ( a pleasant change).

Peter did announce here that he would be closing on Good Friday. As none of his girls would work he had to make a late decision whether to suck dick himself that day or close, and asked our advice. It was a close vote here but those advising him to close just won out:
http://news.insearchofchicas.org/forum/showthread.php?t=97061

More generally, you must get into the mindset of not relying on anyone or anything in the DR, not businesses or services or other mongers or (least of all) chicas. If you cannot learn to chill out you will be constantly disappointed and frustrated and irritated and develop high blood pressure. But once you start going with the flow you will find it enhances your enjoyment because at the dawn of each day you will never know how it is going to end.

I have now spent about 130 days in the DR. Every morning I have woken up wondering what adventure the day will bring, and that attitude has not worn off at all. Just the opposite of our robotic lives in North America or Western Europe. I even quite enjoy the chica dramas (although sometimes more in retrospect than at the time!).

That's why I advised Cainer not to bother planning in detail so far ahead but he didn't appreciate my advice. :)

Good of you to tip Mary 100 pesos but that chica earns enough to pay off Canada's National Debt.

I am really sorry you did not post pictures of your leading ladies (Jeitme, Rachel, Rosi). It would have enhanced your already excellent story no end. Not necessarily intimate pics. Just mugshots would help us remember which is which. And if and when we meet them ourselves it makes it more interesting for us and gives us useful pointers.

Thanks T. Amazing what persistent nagging can achieve!

Both nice-looking chicas. From what you have said so far, Jeitme doesn't seem more "controlling" than the average non-puta, although you may know a lot more than you posted. It goes with the territory and some of us even enjoy playing the game. But obviously if you give your phone to putas to look after you are making the game a little more complicated for yourself.

I shall be looking up Rosi and Raquel next time I am in Puerto Plata.

Meanwhile I am relying on daily fixes from posters like yourself and I am looking forward to the next instalment.

1. Any chance u took a bit of her so we can avoid this one?

2. And what would u have done if she did come back with a posse? I think you would have been better off to just ignore the bitch and let billy have done the talking, or just ignored her completely and sooner or later she would have to leave. By you confronting her, i bet that only made her more angry and it fed the fire.

3. Some of these chicas are starting to think they can get 1500 pesos just by sitting in a mans room for 15 minutes and having their tits touched constitutes a completion of the act and demand payment.

4. There has been some sad stories of late on this forum from mongers bitching about their chicas under performing and trying to skip out and still get paid.

5. Kind of discuraging news considering i was coming there in less then a couple of weeks time. :(

1. No pics but the next time I go to POP you can go with me to the bar she works at.

2. If she had come back, with men who had guns they would have had a much worse day than the one they planned for me.

"By you confronting her, i bet that only made her more angry and it fed the fire." Perhaps you did not understand me, that was my intention.

"I think you would have been better off to just ignore the bitch and let billy have done the talking.." Why? What I think you mean is;You would have been better off.....

3. You seem to be getting the point.

4. I'm afraid that it comes with the territory, when they do not see you everyday.

5. Why would this discourage you? I only talk about the bad ones. The good ones number in the hundreds, they are just not interesting to talk about. If this is troubling to you, and you do not have the temperament and/or skill to deal with street girls there are lots of places that can accommodate you; Crystals, El Bohem, La Passion, the massage parlor a block down from the Western Union, and a few others in POP.

.
Oh u are wrong weyland, Anything u say, i appreciate it. Doesnt mean i agree but it is appreciated lol I know what u mean, dont expect things and by not planning things, u then cant get depressed, but, its in my nature to be like this but for u sir, ill try to be more layed back:)

Sorry, I don't know where Western Union is in Puerto Plata (unless you mean the one out of town near the Stadium).

Installment #4: Community

I have always considered Dominicanas to be poor people, but now I know I seriously need to reconsider my own priorities. Clearly there is a great sense of family, and the families are close and care for each other. Now Jeitme tries to be self-supporting and lives by herself with her baby in Puerto Plata, far away from her family. Normally, a single Dominicana girl would let her mother look after the child, but not Jeitme. But that doesn't mean she's alone, because she's a favourite child of her community, too. One evening when I took her home to her "room", I was introduced to several families and several older ladies who are, in effect, the grandmothers of the community. The community works just like another family. And they ARE close, too.

As it turns out, Jeitme has not had many men around...she is in her mid thirties and was hurt by her philandering ex-esposo. So when she found out I was with Rosi, she wanted to cut me loose just as she had her ex. To her, sex isn't just recreation. How, amongst thousands, did I find one of the very few Dominicanas with North American values? I guess it goes to prove that we are all individuals. But her neighbourhood, her community, made her reconsider. In fact they even had Pablo (about 30, married, 2 kids) phone me and act as an interpreter / reconciliation counselor. And she listened and forgave.

Now I didn't want, nor did I think I needed forgiveness. "Yo no estoy esposo!!!" I declared. And she conceded, but only after ensuring that I was keeping Mr. Wiggly well sheathed. Now half of me wanted to cut loose and party, while the other half really likes the girl and didn't want to hurt her. But due to Pablo's interference, along with his wife, his neighbours, his kids, the babysitter, the laundry woman, the landlady and several more, I ended up taking Jeitme back to Sosua for some intimate one-on-one time.

As an interesting side note, I used a translation program http://translation2.paralink.com/ to ensure I spelled "Yo no estoy esposo" correctly. Accurately, it interpreted it as "I am not handcuff", rather than "I am not husband". Hmmm....muy verdad!!!

Now it was my new buddy Marco's last night before returning to Boston, so I talked with him about it. He said that his hearthrob mountain girlfriend Jessie was coming to see him and that he would be tied up too. He is as fond of Jessie as I am of Jeitme, so I understood. It looked like a plan and we were off for what I hoped to be an amazing evening of make-up sex. As it turned out, Jessie didn't show that night and Marco headed out with Billy and several others for another mongering trip around Puerto Plata. I wish I had been there, but I had a good time anyway.

Jeitme couldn't wait to disrobe me and show me the error of my ways . ..then to cook another really good meal, this time home-made sopa, spaghetti and mystery meat. All meat in the D.R. is suspect in my opinion, even if the package has a label. In this case I didn't see the label. It was very tasty!!!

Now I've eaten a lot of different local things this trip. What surprised me is that I never got sick. I haven't the strongest constitution even in Canada, yet was better down here than I can remember in years...eating in the campo, several ladies cooking local foods with questionable sanitary standards. And, unlike Mexican food, this stuff was actually quite good, though it all began to taste similar in short order.

So after dinner, more make-up sex and we settled in to watch "Rapido Y Furioso" in Spanish (overdubbed version of The Fast and the Furious". Actually, this movie really worked in Spanish...much better than in English. Somehow the adrenalin and angst seemed more appropriate when annunciated in a romance language with Latino emotion and temper.

Now I cannot remember feeling so settled and comfortable in years. A nice warm naked lady snuggling up in bed with me, stoking me, me stroking her, while I sipped Cuba Libras and watched a "guy flick" on satellite TV. Heaven!!!!

In the morning, she again reminded me what I was missing  , cooked breakfast...scrambled eggs (but not up to Billy's standards) and declared that her hair needed work. I gave her 500 pesos for the salon and other incidentals and drove her to her salon in Puerto Plata. She was there at 9:00. She figured she'd be two hours...but Billy had already warned me that Dominicanas take at least four.

I went over to Billy's and ordered another breakfast...this one Canadian style, and then after much jaw-flapping, I drove my buddy Marco to the airport. Now I've only known the bastard for 9 or 10 days, but he's a heart-on-his-sleeve kind of guy, and I know he is a friend for life. It was not an easy good-bye.

I phone Jeitme and she does not answer so I wonder...what shall I do? I end up at Cristal's...a favorite if overpriced venue and have a Presidente. As is every man's fate at Cristal's, a cutie sidled up to me and Mr. Wiggly lost his willpower once more. Christina was attractive, I was bored and, well, we had to try out the rooms at Cristals one more time. This time it was hot...the air conditioning was broken, and we both were sweating like pigs. I left satisfied, and she somehow got her number into my phone (and obviously my number into her phone, as she phoned me a couple of times later). I'd have seen her again, as she gave me exemplary ST service, but time was now short.

Back to the salon and Jeitme is not there. I phone for her and she says she is in the salon. Fume!!! WTF??? She says she'll be another hour and she'll call. So I walk down the street a couple of blocks looking for a bar and I find....Yellowbeard's. So in I go, to be greeted warmly (and I mean very fondly) by both Raquel and Rosi. They inquire after Marco and tell their side of the most interesting evening prior. It's amazing how a story can change with a different point-of-view. After a cervesa I head to the street and Rosi follows. We talk (as best we can), when a Dominicana on a motorcyle drives up. It's Pablo!!!!

So here I am talking with "the competition" in front of the guy who is obviously loyal to Jeitme. I think I'm screwed yet again. Though Sosua is small, obviously Puerto Plata is not big enough for me yet either. There seems to be no anonymity or escaping Jeitme's net.

Great report Terrierist! I have seen the same type of closeness and cooperation in poor communities in other places. As a child I was not wealthy by any means, but I had friends who were much worse off then I.

I was always amazed at how they came together to share resources i.e. rent parties, borrowing sugar, flour, a pack of hot dogs etc., babysitting when a neighbor had to work an odd shift, picking up kids from school. They shared a common lot in life and help each other through it.

But for the grace of God there goe me!

Much respect!

Thanks for the kind words my friend, but if I had your hands .......I'd cut mine off.

I've backed out of reports 3 times because the majority of chicas I deal with either;

1. Are cool girls I won't put on the I-net because they ask me not to......
2. Don't charge me....
3. I do things that I do not recommend to others (not illegal)(not perverted)

Here is something about being Dominicano or dating/marrying/shacking up with a Dominicana that you will learn as you deepen your relationship with Jeitme. It is a very Spartan lifestyle. You are expected to cheat...your Dominicano friends, inlaws, even your SO expects it. Even though everybody expects it, and you are respected and held in high esteem for your many conquests you will be punished if she catches you. She will not have the deepest respect/desire for you as a man until she realizes other women want you. She knows you are cheating and everybody else does too the only sin is to get caught with your pants around your ankles, and her thighs around your ears.

Installment #5: The Best Defense is...

As it turns out, there was a power failure and Jeitme went back to her neighbourhood where there was another salon. Pablo finally was able to explain to me that there were two salons and that Jeitme was at the other one so I drove back to her home and, about one block away from her room, there she was under the hair dryer in curlers. (Yuck!!! Do I ever need to get that picture OUT of my mind)...now Wilma Flintstone wasn't a bad looking girl, for a cartoon character, but this was just too cartoonish for my liking. I envisioned an elephant blowing air into the back of the hair dryer...it was just too primitive, with the hair dryer out of place.

They pulled me up a chair, but it was muy calor and I preferred to sit outside. I asked how long she'd be..."Soon", she said. After nearly another hour I asked "how long"...Damn, I was really getting torqued, and feeling as foolish as a small child asking "Are we there yet?". But I only had one more day left in my vacation, and she'd now squandered all our playa time at the hairdressers...it was past 5:00. So after another 1/2 hour I quietly got in my rented car and drove off...patience shot. Billy warned me that a visit to the hairdressers would take many hours, but I never expected it to take all f*(&ing day and into the evening. Instantly my phone rings...she has sic'ed Pablo on me again...quickly and efficiently. Now he's a cool guy, and after I vomit my anger at him he explains to Jeitme why I think she's been so unreasonable, and why she has disrespected me and my limited time. Then Pablo takes me to a couple of local drinking holes (including Cristals and Yellowbeard's and a really cool disco place on the way to Costambar). We both drink way too many cervesas and he feels compelled to drive home (to Jeitme's neighbourhood). That's OK with me, as he's probably a better driver in the D.R. drunk than I am sober.

Later, I drove Jeitme back to Sosua.

Whew...it worked!!!! As Jeitme and I walked up the staircase at the TradeWinds condo in Sosua, she stops me...drops to her knees, exclaims she's sorry and begs my forgiveness. Man, that's so much better than me being in shit!!!!! The best defense IS a good offence. And two days of make-up sex in a row...Fred Flintstone says it best...Yabba Dabba Do!!!!

I am getting hungry, and it's after 11:00pm, so I'm not going to ask Jeitme to cook. So I zip into Sosua for a little take-out somewhere. Looking in my wallet, I realize I only have one 2,000 peso bill left and no change at all. So after parking, I ask directions to an ATM machine...and follow them...past Rocky's...past the New Garden...to an intersection. Guessing, I turn right and walk about half a block when I meet a security guard. I ask him for a Banco Automatico!!! (OK, my Spanish sucks, but he got the idea). He locked the gate to the hotel he was guarding and proceeded to escort me two blocks southish (the other direction) to the Banco Popular.

Now this must be collusion, yes a scam...the smallest bill it will dispense is 200 pesos, so the security guard got a 200 peso tip for his help. Well, it's dark and I was lost, so I wasn't going to stiff him. And off I go towards the action in Sosua. Perhaps a minute later someone grabs my shoulder and starts to shout at me in Spanish. WTF!!! Luckily I'm not a violent man, and my first instincts are to analyse, not strike. If reversed, I'm sure I wouldn't be here today.

It was the security guard...he was desperately pointing at a group of chicas and chicos coming down the street right at us...."Mafioso", he declared, and proceeded to vigorously pull me back down the street the way we had come. I was beginning to feel really smart for giving him a 200 peso tip. Mucho Problemo avoided!!!

I circled back via the New Garden, and then Rocky's, found my car and went back to the condo for the night...I forgot to get anything to eat, and frankly lost my hunger anyway. But I repeat...Sosua hates me!!!!

Next (and next to last) installment...Departure!!!

The complex is on the main road. You can call or walk down and grab a cab. Walking could take a while and you wouldn't want to do it at 2am with a girl.

It's a little inconvenient if you mind the cabs, but that's why a lot of guys use the hotels instead. (New Garden, Casa Valeria, Casa Cayena, Europa, etc.)

OK, I had a choice...an unruly gang that acted like they may well have been on drugs, or the guy that helped me...at a price. Easy decision!!!

Jeitme wasn't there simply because I wouldn't put her in such a position. I'm somewhat chauvinistic, I guess, but I always look after my lady and seldom myself. I trust that over a half century of experience has heightened my spidey senses. Perhaps I was a little reckless, but I was still safer than out by myself in L.A. or Atlanta or Edmonton. Sosua isn't that dangerous, though it does seem much worse than Puerto Plata. Perhaps it attracts too many mongering tourists. Predators gather where prey abounds, n'est pas? My wingman, Marco, had flown back to Boston so there was no chance of being accompanied.

This is a pretty good rental plan, if you can take the hit. The one I had did not have a deductable, if I totaled the car and ran over someone, there would be no out of pocket cost. But it was about 13 dollars a day more. I think I may go with Kayac next go round.

Well, taxis in Puerto Plata are far scarier than in Sosua. Sosua is small, and the concho drivers outside the TradeWinds seem to understand us chicken-shit gringos. The three I rode with were very good...calm, smooth and safe-as-can-be. Sosua is very small, and that minimizes your risk. I felt quite safe on the back of a motoconcho with a driver who knew me as a repeat customer in Sosua. They want you to call them back for another fare. Just propina well...an extra 20 pesos goes a long way on a 40 peso fare and they'll remember you and treat you right.

Sure you could take a taxi, but it's just not worth the cost or the wait, IMHO!!! The chicas are fine with the motoconcho, and I'm not about to be more chickenshit than a young woman!!!!

Now in Puerto Plata, I don't feel the same. The traffic is much more ridiculous. There the concho drivers cannot drive as defensively and still get to their destination reasonably. I took several motoconchos in Puerto Plata and must recommend taxis whenever there are two or more passengers. This is partly because of the longer distances and the more aggressive traffic.

Now the rest depends on the experience you are looking for...a condo is generally nicer than a hotel room, but it is farther from the action. I kinda get off on having a full kitchen, and even on letting the ladies show off their culinary prowess. Life is a compromise...choose your poison, though even in Sosua you cannot have it all (or if you can, I didn't find out how).

A soapy....? I think I can do a little better than that, how about a 3 hour massage from that big chica at crystals?

Ah...you mean Damaris from Cristals. Well she is no spinner, but she is a true professional masseuse, and knows how to finish the job too!!!! Last trip I took Damaris for an encore, and wrote about her in my first trip report. It was good to see her again this trip, but the time (timing) wasn't right and I didn't see her again or I'd have eagerly taken her home for another amazing massage and stupendous finish(es). She also knows how to treat a man right in public, and I enjoyed walking with her along the playa, and even taking horse-drawn carriage rides with her...she was always letting me know she was there... .

is the conclusion of your trip report tonight terrier? Im looking forward to reading how it all ended.

Your being like a stripper who keeps pretending to take off her top to expose those big hooters and then just delays it so i drool some more lol

It gets a little anticlimactic from here...please give me another day to collect my thought (purposely singular), and I'll finish it off.

I have one reserved with Avis for $370 for 12 days w/liability insurance. About $30 a day but I don't really like the car you get for that. It is about one step up from a moto.....barely. Maybe I'll get lucky and get upgraded.

I can't seem to get insurance prices on Savings website. I'm guessing it is going to be about the same as Avis.

Don't let feelings of masculine pride blur your judgment. Just because the putas are happy to take motoconchos doesn't mean you have to. They don't have the dinero for taxis, cannot walk because of their heels, and are reckless with their lives in many ways. A well-known puta whom I and many others here have had was horribly injured recently and will live out her life as a mangled wreck. (Admittedly this was on a private moto). Many others have been killed or injured in my two years on ISOC.

I also agree with you about Puerto Plata motoconchistas. They rely less on gringos to make a living and the distances are greater which increases the risk.

I have been carefree about taking motoconchos during my first 17 weeks in the DR (despite Dominican Billy's fierce lectures) but this last trip I could easily have been injured or worse on four occasions in just two weeks so I will be restricting my usage in future. If I can walk, or a taxi would not cost more than double, then I will avoid motoconchos in PP.

Either way, it will always be my decision and I will not let a chica influence me.

Installment #6: Departure

We get up early, and Jeitme insists on making me breakfast again...OK, but I make her add a couple of eggs to the scramble as I don't expect to eat well again today...airline food is not what it once was, and the day will approach 18 hours before I am home and able to eat well again.

I'm packed, and she packs up her stuff (and the fridge, a very nice bonus for her, as accurately predicted by Billy ten days previously) and by 8:00 we're on the road. I stop off at Rocky's to turn in the key, repatriate my damage deposit ($50.00 US) and grab a cup of coffee. I finally meet Marco...we've been missing each other all week. He seems like a very nice gentleman. Certainly Sosua hates me, but Rocky's, Marco, and the TradeWinds have been good to me this trip. So Sosua is not all bad, but WHY does it HATE me so????

I drove Jeitme to her new room. I guess I should confess that I did pay for her damage deposit (4,000 pesos) so she could move from her room to a one bedroom apartment with a working toilet of her own. I felt she needed a little more space than a single room with no water and a common waterless lavatory for her and her son. Besides, I'd have blown 4,000 in a single day easily on any one of many putas...it was the least I could do, and I still feel cheap. I did try to explain that she was solely responsible for the rent...there would be NO Western Union. She was disappointed, but she got the message...no play, no pay...PERIOD!!!

It's now just after 9:00 and Jeitme is getting agitated. I don't know why, by she decides to direct me through Puerto Plata traffic... Izquierda...Derecha..Direcho para siempre (well not really para siempre). derecha aqui. Parar!!!

Well, I finally turned into an office building and in we go. It was her Abagado!!!! Jeitme talked with him, and then he translated...If I wanted to take her to Canada, it would cost $1,500 U.S. to incorporate a company...I'd need to name her as a senior executive...and then there might be a chance, if it looked legitimate, that Canada would grant her a tourist visa. If I were to put assets into the company, like buying real estate or simply adding several thousand dollars to a working account, things would likely go even easier. Or, and it would be so much easier, I could marry her and then, after a longer waiting period and several documented visits, she could accompany me indefinitely as my wife!!!!

OMFG!!!! "Yo estoy no esposo!!!!" I scream inwardly, and not for the first time this trip. The other shoe finally falls!!!! Now I have to, once again, credit Billy Lane (DominicanBilly), of HarborView Condos, for having covered this topic with me in advance. No, I did NOT see it coming. But I was prepared. Thank you, Billy.

Now I really like this girl...and would quickly sponsor her on a tourist visa, even accepting all expenses. But marriage? Hell, my divorce isn't even final yet. And spending mucho dinero on a shell company controlled by a woman I'd known only three weeks (both trips) and with whom I didn't even have a common language? I'd like my accountant to look that over.

So I make some feable excuses about not being ready for marriage...yet (and frankly I don't think I will ever be ready for that again), and that I am unemployed (true, as my new job would not start until April 1st).

The abogado translated and Jeitme looked heartbroken. But she kissed me anyways and insisted that she accompany me to the airport.

So I dropped the car off at Kayac and they drove Jeitme and me to the airport. I checked my bags, got my boarding pass and then we sat together for about an hour. The goodbyes started, and I got misty...I think I must be allergic to something in the departure area of the airport as this happened the last time I left Puerto Plata, and also when I said goodbye to my friend Marco a few days earlier.

With 45 minutes to wheels up, I emptied my wallet of its remaining dominican currency into her purse, besa mi amor adios, and proceeded through security. As I waited in line, I watched her negotiate with a couple of cabbies, and finally take a third back to her home...damn, I want to learn how to negotiate from this lady. She seems like a real professional at getting her way. Lord knows she worked her magic on me, much to Billy's chagrine!!!

Arriving home, I turn on my Canadian cell phone to two messages...both effectively say "I miss you...I wuv u, I wuv u, I wuv u".

It may be a fantasy, but it sure beats reality...I'm saving up already to see her (and a few strays too, I must admit) again, and as soon as possible.

VIVA La Republica Dominica!!!!!

P.S. - In another moment of weakness (OK, that was most of my trip), I set her up with an email account, and now she is emailing sweet Spanish to me. I wonder when the W.U. request will come. Oh well, I'm broke and unemployed...she can't get blood from a stone, though she sure can mess with my...uh...heart?...yeah that's it...somewhere below my belly button.

Thanks for the great trip report terrior.

As for that visitors visa u thought might be possible, forget that. Never ever ever will someone from a third world country be offered a visitors visa unless she basically owns that country lol

I cannot speak for jeitme's true feelings but, this sounds a bit fishy to me. I could be %100 completely wrong and u two are made for one another but this baloney about u forking over money to this shell company i beleive was a plan right from the word go. Again i could be wrong, but, maybe i am not wrong lol

U seem like a very nice guy and u also seem like a guy who is easy to take advantage of. Your kindness is seen as a weekness by many over there. Just dont do something stupid pls

Thanks again for the great report, everyday i signed on hoping u had done the next chapter.

Great story, terrierist, and a new twist on an old tale. Do I understand that you had no idea where she was taking you? I find the fact that she had a lawyer instantly available very suspicious. Other guys here will have more knowledge than me but I would think that very poor Dominicans would not be in touch with gringo-level lawyers. Not unless they had previous experience of this sort of thing or they were being advised by someone more sophisticated and the whole thing was a pre-arranged set-up.

You enjoyed her time with her and you paid her generously. You owe her nothing. You have had a great experience. Now move on. Do not correspond with her. Do not meet her again. I would never rule out getting involved in a long-term relationship with a local. But mutual trust should grow gradually over many months and years. This one is too manipulative for you. Possibly she is desperate, and desperate people are even more dangerous than scheming ones. If you did get involved deeper she would always be wearing the trousers. And if you tried to then break it off she might react vindictively and she might well have a novio or family to back her up.

One of the advantages of hanging with illegal haitianas is that they are less likely to have an established family in the country to take their side and they are reluctant to provoke any situation where the law might get involved.

Great post Weyland. Its too easy to fall into this trap, and I'm sure many have. The heart wants to believe all the emotion its feeling! They (the dominicana's) are very good at what they do. And while they may have some true feelings, they see the yellow brick road to paradise! We have too much too lose, and there are too many fish in the sea to fall for this.

It gets a little anticlimactic from here...

After reading the last bit of your report.....this is the biggest lie I have heard since Sun & Buns started posting ......

Installment #6: Departure

I drove Jeitme to her new room. I guess I should confess that I did pay for her damage deposit (4,000 pesos) so she could move from her room to a one bedroom apartment with a working toilet of her own. I felt she needed a little more space than a single room with no water and a common waterless lavatory for her and her son.

She probably took this as a sign you were going to keep her as your regular novia

This is where the boss has to be smarter than the employee, just give her a position as a retained Consultant with no fiduciary, or management responsibility in your company....same effect ;). And use your own lawyer

Or, and it would be so much easier, I could marry her and then, after a longer waiting period and several documented visits, she could accompany me indefinitely as my wife!!!!

I'm sure Billy knows a good lawyer for the prenup

Come on.........come onnnnnnnnn :D

Now I really like this girl...and would quickly sponsor her on a tourist visa, even accepting all expenses. But marriage? Hell, my divorce isn't even final yet. And spending mucho dinero on a shell company controlled by a woman I'd known only three weeks (both trips) and with whom I didn't even have a common language? I'd like my accountant to look that over.

I can just hook some electrodes to your balls and work you over for a week or so.............It would be the same effect..........and free

I'm not allergic to a damn thing......I cry.

It may be a fantasy, but it sure beats reality...I'm saving up already to see her (and a few strays too, I must admit) again, and as soon as possible.

Make it last as long as YOU want, keep it under your control, never think she is stupid or uneducated in the big picture because of her economic position and do not have children :hand:. You will be fine.

VIVA La Republica Dominica!!!!!

Fuckin A' Right...

You already told her there would be no WU, if you added on that if she asks for any you will cut her off.....you should be alright....or without a girlfriend.

As for that visitors visa u thought might be possible, forget that. Never ever ever will someone from a third world country be offered a visitors visa unless she basically owns that country lol.

Not true all the time, my ex-novia has a US visa, and is not from a rich family either. A little property, a business, and some savings will make the cut if you are in the right position.

I cannot speak for jeitme's true feelings but, this sounds a bit fishy to me. I could be %100 completely wrong and u two are made for one another but this baloney about u forking over money to this shell company i beleive was a plan right from the word go. Not unless they had previous experience of this sort of thing or they were being advised by someone more sophisticated and the whole thing was a pre-arranged set-up.

When she felt like he was going to keep her, she put her plan into motion without a doubt....but don't let yourself fall into thinking she is not well rounded or smart because she used to be a puta. There are professors, police, doctors and lawyers in the DR that will put some of the best pussy on you you have ever had to get married, but most of them are over 24 so they are not in view of most ISOC members .

There is no reason to cut it off, as I understand it he is not looking for mutual trust, love and dedication. Just a stable novia to be at his disposal when he wants GFE. It may be that she is desperate, but her back is not against the wall....she has ample opportunity to contact him and see him if he wishes, that means options and opportunity for her as a long term mistress....if she acts right. And what if her other guy or family gets pissed, The best policy against this is for his new girl to have brothers and uncles on the Policia Nacional.

If you are not careful she could set you up and with a few lies have you in jail here just for spite. Henry, a friend of mine, had to pay off a father because it was that or jail for being with a 17 year old.
I think Billy should clarify that he means being falsely accused of being with a 17-year-old.

Just when you think you have heard it all, some female makes you realize there is another level to deepen the drama.
Billy you have so many good stories, why not share this one.
I think this story might be better being shared privately, just to avoid any misunderstandings.

I'll have to add this to my file of tricks. You were right she is smarter than the average chica but you had better watch out. "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned".

Weyland is correct in his advise to you; "stay away from her, do not see her again. I'd add do not answer her phone calls or her e-mails and hope she finds some one else.

If you are not careful she could set you up and with a few lies have you in jail here just for spite. Henry a friend of mine had to pay off a father because it was that or jail for being with a 17 year old.

For the right amount you could have them all thrown in jail for pimping a 17 year old.

Do not correspond with her. Do not meet her again.

Thanks to Weyland, Billy and Cainer for your advice. I appreciate it and know it was well-intended. First, I no longer have any intention of doing anything regarding bringing this girl to Canada. I am NOT in love, and have no interest in parting with more hard-earned cash. The ex I have is already tapping me dry.

I do let the ladies get away with more than most. Frankly, it is largely out of curiosity as to what they will do next!!! I find it entertaining and am detached enough not to let it go too far. Perhaps that's why I was invited to take that memorable trip to the Campos outside San Francisco. Idunno.

Now the girl knows the lawyer from from her clothing business. He only spoke broken English, and was no gringo lawyer at all. He wanted the incorporation fee and Jeitme wanted, well, Idunno...security? It was a free consultation with an existing client for him.

Now, I will NOT send WU, and it may be a long time before I venture back to Columbus's blessed soil. All this will, unfortunately, be forgotton by then.

Still, I will always remember this very intelligent lady. She was older than most we mongers meet, but was highly entertaining due to her intelligence and attempts to manipulate me. I often let her succeed, just to see what else would come to play. And perhaps, there, I crossed the line and wasn't as respectful as I like to think I am. Still, there's more to life than sucking and fucking...we mongers have to fill the other 3 or 4 hours of the day, do we not? And a little drama is entertaining. Now I still don't know which was more reckless, the motoconchos or the drama!!!!

And thanks to Corrado. You're about the only one who got what I was up to when I was "playing" with her as she "played" with me. It was great entertainment with a very special lady. Now...vacation's over, my new job's a bitch, and I'm going to try to nurse this memory a very long time. And Billy, I really did listen to you, and did not mean to disrespect you by seemingly ignoring your advice. But it was interesting to allow your predictions to come true, and to prove how predictable some of these games are. You have to admit there is entertainment value there.

Installment #3: ..........I drive back to Sosua and decide to monger solo. La Passions was why I went to Sosua!!.

Sorry Terrierista,

Bad timing on my part walking into Passions then. If I had known it was you I would have bought you a beer! ;)

And WOW.......what an "interesting" report. :thumbsup2:

Thanks for taking the time to relay all the details.

And I'll second the advice of others by paraphrasing the old Las vegas ad's.

"What happens in the DR should STAY in the DR!"

And I really think that was me in Passions. I also swung by Harbourview a few times. Billy mentioned that I had just missed Corrado, but I didn't see anyone else there at that moment.

If you choose to return, beers are on me.

This makes all the difference in the world

You think there would be some misunderstanding, it's just explaining how an honest guy can be mislead by people who wish to prey on him. Not really different than being falsely accused of rape (happened to me, no misunderstanding on the board), or having a "friend" leave illegal substances in your vehicle and not fess to it when the police find it. Billy has a wealth of wisdom I think would be useful, if he shared it a lot of hurt feelings and busted wallets could be avoided.

Oh, I choose to return. There is NO doubt about that!!!!!

I spent 30 years (27 married) faithful to the same lady here in Canada who only wanted me for financial security. Not only did she not even like me, she didn't have the honesty to tell me. After so many years of squirming and self-doubt, I will definitely be back. At least the chicas in La Republica Dominica are honest about what they want. They are also young and beautiful. Heck, I'm not even interested in Canadian women anymore. A simple date up here, with little chance of scoring, costs way more than two days of romping sex and fun in the D.R...guaranteed!!!!

I'll be taking you up on those beers, my friend, as soon as I can wrestle myself away from my daily servitude. And perhaps you can tell the chicas at La Passions that The Terrierist isn't so bad. I gave Sosua no good reason to hate me...perhaps next trip will be better.

I totally sympathise with everything you say in this post. You echo my views on "involvement" with chicas. It is not for everyone, but we older guys can relax and enjoy the "theatre" because we do not feel compelled to bust a nut every couple of hours.

You seem well on top of the situation (as Corrado realised) so I withdraw my presumptuous advice to you.

I think the bottom line is:

Week One spent in Puerto Plata :iconTU:

Week Two spent in Sosúa :icontd:

I rest my case

Hey bud;

Please do not think that the chicas in The DR are honest. As a matter of fact, even the ones who actually do like you lie like no tomorrow.

I only say this because if you go to the DR with this attitude, some chica will have you believing that she cares for you and might make a suitable novia, and then you'll be fucked.

After a couple more trips, you won't give a fuck about the Canadian chicas anymore and that will make you way more effective at getting what you want without having to sell the farm to get it.

I'm sure you will still want to go to the DR, but I found that the way I deal with women now is much different than 2 years ago.

Disclaimer: There may be 5 Dominicanas who are totally honest and truthful on that Island, but then again, there may not be. For those 5, I apologize for generalizing.

Sorry, I was obviously too brief in my statement. I meant to say that the chicas in the D.R. are honest about what they want...they want what's in my wallet and are willing to engage in that discussion up front. Transactions and interactions can be "relatively" simple, even with (so-called) non-putas.

With Canadian women...not so easy except for massage parlors and callgirls where I find the value too low to want to participate (though obviously much higher value than my marriage).

I have found "as a generalization" that they will lie when there is no valid reason to lie. You are dealing with an 8 to 10 year old mentality.

They maybe able to raise children, run a home, cook and clean but they are like little girls at a slumber party when it come to social skills.

They will have a fight with their "best friend" and hate her today but two days from now they will be best friends again and out on the disco scene together.

They will ask for the most outrageous present or some thing that is impossible to achieve because they rationalize that if they don't ask, then for sure they won't get what they ask for.

This is how 8 to 10 year olds socialize.
