I've been playing house with a novia in La Vega recently and I can say, without hesitation, that there is nothing redeeming about this town. But that all changes for one month every year. I've been to Carnaval in Santiago and twice to the Carnaval in La Capital but, to my mind's eye, neither holds a candle to this one.



Robert 13212 came over from Sosua for the day on the third Sunday and we had a good time. Then I stuck around for the final Sunday and the following day which is the Desfile (parade) and both days rocked.

Lots of gorgeous young chicas and then at night, lots of drunken chicas.
