Secreto Dulce (New Sosua Cabana)
Got a little intel this afternoon on the new Cabanas.
Go to the end of Pedro Clisante, just after you pass the laundry service on the left, the road kinda forks..go left and keep going maybe another half mile. You will see it on the left.
At night it's all lit up with blue neon, so you can't miss it.
I stopped and talked to the guy about rates, and he let me take a look at each level room. All are very nice sized rooms with flatscreens on the wall, nice beds, nice bathrooms with tub, and even a wall mounted wooden fuck perch/ledge:lol:. Decor is very nice..everything is new and clean..I could rent there if he allowed it.
Standard room is 500 pesos for 3 hours.
Executive adds a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom 600 pesos.
Presidential adds a mini living room area with a red leather couch. 700 pesos.
I'm sorry but I don't remember what he said for overnight, but almost sure it was 1000 pesos more.
I will definitely use and recommend them if needed.
I could not get pics in the room..didn't want to raise alarm/explain or wear out my welcome.

That's a very good rate. Compared to paying 400 pesos for an hour at that dump the Calypso.
I think I may have found myself a new cabana.
Do you know if they have air conditioning or ceiling fans?
I hope they have AC. I am going back in July and sessioning in those steamy cabanas really takes it toll on me:rofl:!

Yes, AC for sure..
I think they have fans as well...but don't quote me on that.
Re: Secreto Dulce (New Sosua Cabana)
Would it be suitable enough to stay for 4-5 days instead of a hotel and if so what are the nightly rates?

Its a definate moto ride from both.
It is at the intersection of Pedro Clisante (where it winds around like you are going to playa chiquita) and Alejo Martinez, It actually sits on Pedro Clisante, if you continue on. At night you cant miss it, its lit up like a vegas hotel!

It is a little bit of a walk from Classicos, Hugh.
I would advise you to take a motoconcho to get there.
At your age, that might be too much of a walk for you to handle.:rofl::rofl:
Re: Secreto Dulce (New Sosua Cabana)
I am terrible at distance measuring now maybe because I have not been on freeways that much the past couple of years.Like Coach said it is a moto ride.

I'm with you on this!!!
Although, if you have a car, you could swing out to LOVE cabanas down off the main road, across from the Casa Linda road entrance. It's about 400 there with comfortable rooms.
