Oh please who the hell still talks without tax and fees nowadays anyway

I put it on hold early this morning but for example return March 10 is $347 as well
Looks like CO's bumping up the fares on the EWR-POP route from $402 to $492 prompted AA to do the same. Yesterday a lot of AA flights were still listing at around $420-430 but now there's nothing under $500 - which blows because it isn't even a nonstop.
Shits really bad now to EWR-POP..
$800 -$900 all through Feb and March.
Only thing decent is JFK-STI right around $400. (on Delta)
I just might book again...;)
there are a lot of dates in march/april for $492 EWR-POP. A few at the end of this month as well, but only for specific lengths of stay (like 13 days, i think).
time to use those one-pass miles if you have them. Booked a flight Feb 27-March 3rd, just pay the taxes and service fee.
there's no service fee unless you book within 21 days of traveling, just fyi for anyone thinking about using miles for the trek. if they hit you up for a service fee for a flight on 2/27 you might wanna look into it, they may have made a mistake.
the problem with booking EWR-POP on onepass miles is that it's nearly impossible to find available days for a saverpass ticket (the minimum 35k miles) these days, so unless you've got an insanely flexible schedule it's going to cost at least 60k miles (+ the taxes & fees) for tickets.
by comparison - 60k will get you a saverpass r/t ticket to Bangkok, and those seats are regularly available. That's normally a $1200-$1600 ticket.
Thanks for the info. will look into it. Maybe it was taxes...
I booked Continental PGH to Newark Newark direct nonstop to POP April 5 returning April 14 for $368 ret.
Airlines are the masters of getting the best rate per seat per flight. If I book 10 seats on that same flight the price will go up. They manage seat inventory based on what is remaing vs their historical data base on what they will sell.
Try looking at other airports for departures or as someone suggested destination. You may get lucky. No doubt flexibility is the key !
Seriously if I hadn't something else planned I would have done it. I've got plenty miles, to me really a no brainer. Simple as that. 36 hours or so I would have contacted 3 SD chicas/favoritas and spend my time eating food and fucking them 12 hours each! But I had a Medellin trip planned a week later so it was hard to spin both off like that http://news.insearchofchicas.org/for...d.php?t=325635
EWR to POP flights just went down from well over $500 to $422 including tax for Mid September.
Continental just price-matched JetBlue on $300 R/T tix to POP (taxes included) from EWR for a few flights in September.
Confirmed via continental.com
9/14-9/28 (14 days)
9/21-9/28 (7days)
Also a few $360 flights.
thats way too good to resist....
Now if the Dominicans ever figure out that if they lowered the Taxes a little we would probably make like twice as many trips in a year & those planes would be filled to capacity every single day. Everyone would be a winner.
Son of a bitch! I just checked my dates and it's $360. I booked at $422 two weeks ago. Oh well we all know the game--it's best to just book when it seems reasonable enough to prevent paying way to much.
My wing got his ticket from Milwaukee for $607 and was estatic--says he usually pays almost double. We do have it good near NY.
