    HOTEL/CASINO MATUM

Located near the Monumento, Hotel Matums is easy to find. In April, 2004 there was some massive remodeling going on. This Hotel was built by former Dictator Trujillo and has a great sense of history. Prices usually run $30-$40 per night. Another great place to meet chicas and gamble your $$$ away.

We are staying here. The price is right, chica friendly but run down. It has a restaurant and the service and the food are BAD!

Myself and MAV were in Santiago Friday night, I had recently heard that they had finished their remodeling of the Casino at Hotel Matun and decided to check it out.

First I must Say I was Very Impressed and speaking for Mav he was equally impressed. The Casino was very clean and modern. Though smaller then the Casino at Gran Almirante I preffered it. All new tables, Carpet, Sexy Clothes for the Waitresses and two neat tables to play at. A Vitual Blackjack table, and A Electronic Roulette Table which is where me and Mav wasted are time.

If they Re-model the Hotel anything like the Casino it will be a hell of a place to stay. The Hotel also Has a Very Classy looking Bar(Which at the moment the Name Escapes Me)

If you want to go clean and cheap, stay at the Colonial Hotel. (507 pesos) I posted a thread in the Santiago hotel section.
