I looked first but did not see any rates. Do you know what they are. I talked to this Collin before and he was very nice but told me that very few if any are available in the winter months when most of us would want to come there becasue Canadian snowbirds rent them by the month. He told me the only studio he had at the time I believe for Jan. did not have AC unless Colin has more than one property. I know I read in a post he is managing it for the guy that used to run it. ??? Am I right??

I emailed Colin twice abt a room for Late November and got no reply. So I booked Don Antonio, most say they like it there, will see if I agree.

Ok Daddy let us know how it goes. I read that Yayow posted he stayed there last month. Living there previously and still in country he should know and it would appear he is a legend there from his highly regarded status and friends that would carry a lot of wait with me as where to stay.

No AC correct in almost all the smaller units?? The only thing I want to melt my ice is my Vodka.

I will say that I am a bit disappointed in CD Property Mgmt. (Colin). Several days ago I e-mailed, inquiring about availability in December. To this date, no response...And that is after I have stayed there two times prior.
Fortunately, I personally also know one the Studio owner's, and 'lo and behold I was booked and confirmed within 24 h for a studio at $20 per night. So, it's not like all units have been booked solid...

Makes one wonder....

I emailed about reservations several times, and get no response. I went by the property on a recent visit for a tour. Spoke with a lady who informed me that the manager was not there and she could not give me a tour. I told her I would be down in Febuary and she said oh we're booked solid that time of the year (end of conversation) and she closed the gate. I don't know, but customer service seems to be lacking. Maybe business is so great he doesn't need any new customers. I went by for the tour about 1pm after having lunch at Susana, I was alone, courteous, and well spoken.

I agree, email responses are spotty at best. It's kind of like one or two get picked for a response each day and tough luck for the rest. I didn't get a response until my third try when trying to make a reservation. Anyway, I'll be staying there starting Wednesday and will report back my experience.
