Hmm. Alright. With taxes and fees, you're looking at about $60usd per night. That's more than advertised on their website. And it's also about $15 more than La Roma. But it definitely offers a lot more amenities.


So I guess the determining factor for me is whether they're guest friendly. And if they are, whether they charge a chica fee.


I'll definitely find out before my next trip.

Thanks for posting. If this was posted three weeks ago I would've stayed there instead of at the Palacio. I'll definitely keep it in mind for my next trip.

Looks great. I just had a buddy in from Sao Paulo and he stayed at Jaguar because it is close by to my apt. I may have to check out these apts to see where they are located.

I had a Superior room. The room was nice as was the location of the hotel. The only problem i had was with the maid service. Hard as hell to get them to keep wash cloths in the room along with enough glasses. That and the wireless internet access was problematic for the first week. I received a 15% discount on the price by paying in cash (ask ahead of time) bringing the cost of the room to $83 per night for 2 people. That price included taxes and everything. If anyone does go to the Palacio do not stay in any rooms facing the front of the building. A lot of early morning noise.

I will be visiting Santo Domingo 1/1/4/10 -1/18/10 for a short visit. i just got back sosua 10/10/09 after 7 days. I going for the change of pace. My 1st visit to the DR was in 2006 to Boca Chica & I thought that was off the hook until I visited Sosua. So after 10 trips to the DR 3 to Boca Chica and 7 to Sosua, I'm back To Santo, I'm travelling solo.
Has anyone stayed at hotel Riazzor which is next to the Renaissance Hotel/Casino, or Hotel Roma. Which is the better location?
Do you reccommend Hotel roma or Riazzor for the monger. I'm not planning on renting a car, I get around with the local transportation just fine. I'll go to Boca on Sunday for the beach, and the other times I will be roaming Santo.
Nothing wrong with Sosua, but I'm trying to give it a chance to have some freash new chicas appear.
I've great times in Boca, & Santo, but the best times have been had in Sosua.
Any info will be greatly appreciated. I know Yayow knows Santo well.

I stayed there twice but then the Marriott Courtyard opened, which has a pool.

I have stayed at that Courtyard Marriott, it was a little off of the beaten path but chica friendly. I was trying to get a little closer to the action. When I use to go to Boca I would always stay at the Costalunga, a great place to stay for mongering. Thanks, for the feedback.

I just did a seach on this site, and all of my questions have been answered concerning Santo, Riazor, & Roma. There is no substitute for knowledge, and how to acquire it. ISOC IS THE BEST

Could you explain why you prefered Sosua to Boca Chica?

Sosua has more Chicas, more activities in which to partake. You can go to Puerto Plata, Charamicos, Cabarette easily taking the local transportation at a small cost. To be honest just Classicos down stairs or updstairs is all you need to do in sosua and your trip will be unforgettable. Sosua has more areas that you can walk around and feel safe, no substitute for common sense.
Boca Chica has one little spot on the main strip that they close at night and the chicas come out to a couple bars. Don't get me wrong you can fuck your brains out in both places but Sosua just gives you more options. There are mucho beggars in Boca, difficult to enjoy the beach.
I will check out Boca for the beach on Sunday during my upcoming trip, and maybe get lucky and pull a 8-10 spinner.
Sosua just has more to offer. Someone going for the first time, will not know the difference, because the Chicas will be on you in both places.

I concur with Tony......did Boca three times in the last ten years cause the airfare was cheap and POP was expensive......and then I landed in Sosua in September and a whole new world of Chicas opened up to me.......a lot more Chicas for sure.......and more bars and restaurants too..........Sosua beach is a lot more fun too.......and it's for the most part less expensive in Sosua.........plus you have Caberte nearby........a lot of reasons to like Sosua......
