Check it out the bar and restaruant are supposed to be really nice.

between NG, SeaBreeze and now Terra Linda us mongers have some pretty nice places to stay at a half decent rates right downtown..........great for the mongers that come in for the shorter stays too......though mi prefer at least a week in Paradise......lol..........and competition is always good.......

I see this place catering more to couples or families rather than single guys. I can't see them allowing girls to hang around the pool. Time will tell.

I think they will have trouble surviving if they don't cater to single gringos. Families will want to stay closer to the beach.

El Colibri learned the same lesson, for years they catered to families and avoided mongers like the plague, they soon found out to survive in Sosua the monger had to be a prime customer.


This place will learn the same thing.

I don't think you can compare a apple to a pineapple. I like Rocky's to eat and the prices are hard to beat for no frills bed and bathroom with no AC type lodging along with with some with AC for more but look at what has been reported here by SRSuerte on the seen and what has been shown on the website.

They are not trying to compete with Rockys or DA or Coco they are trying to give another choice to NG new section at $62 and other nice options like Casa Cayena. It will be interesting to see how this comes to be along with El Rancho in a month after we all get to read actual reports.

I walked by this place today, men were working outisde. I checked out El Rancho today too. It's down the block across from Casa Cayeno (sp?) $45 per night with pool, but the lady who runs the place doesn't seem to want mongers with multiple chicas coming in and out, handing around her pool. The place (forgot the name) behind Banco Popular has nice rooms and the location is close to the strip. Well gotta go off to El Flow.

The Hotel Looks good! I will post pictures later. I was told by one of the workers that they are looking at the rates in the area and still have to work the rate issue out.They will work with you with the rates. They will have apartments on the third floor.

If you bring a girl she leaves her ID at the desk and gets it when she leaves.

Sent them a detailed email 2 Full days ago and no reply. Fucking same stupid DR shit when you are allegedly opening after Xmas why would you want to return email within 2 Full days maybe not even in 3 or 4 or at all? Hell when the guy says several trips for over 40 days in next 3 months don't get back to him just be a dumb ass.

People wonder why these places are run ass backwards and all they have to do is try themselves. F'in amazingly stupid.

Chica friendly but they will not allow girls to come in off the street and hang around. Owner said he wanted to be "like the NG but a bit more upscale, do things a little different". Since he hangs out at the NG, he has to know what sells in Sosua

Yes, the restaurant and bar area look nice but the owner seems to want both mongers and couples and they do not always mix. As far as showing ocean front views on the website, well, see how well that goes with some people who do not know Sosua.

For ocean-front, chica-friendly hotels, Sosua Bay is the only choice in town. $60 a night ocean-front ($50 a night non ocean-front) for 1-2 persons with breakfast included. I talked with the guy at the reception desk last week and he clearly said bringing a girl back was not a problem, no guest fee but if she wanted breakfast, it was $10.

Sosua Bay also advertises on ilovesosua.com, website of the guy who stops by the NG every day to check on his stocks (I forgot the guy's name but I forget everyone's name) and he confirmed that Sosua Bay has become guest-friendly and they do promote the hotel as being an Adults-Only hotel.
