Got my tix today, ringside table for 4. RD$3,500 per head including open bar.

Stoked as it's been announced that one of my all time favorites, Roberto Duran will be in attendance.

Maybe I can drag him along to Classicos afterwards, bet he won't say 'No mas' there!!!!!

Absolutely great night. The organisers proved that they could put on a good event in Sosua.

About 600 turned up to witness some good action, all the fights were of good quality with local hero Felix Diaz surprisingly being taken all the way by his Nicaraguan opponent.

Some problems with the seating arrangements but as easily 50% of the attendees were Dominicans that was probably utterly predictable.

Only other real problem was the ring ropes were too slack and in 1 bout both fighters fell arse over tit into the audience but got straight back into the ring and into it again.

Roberto Duran was in attendance after his night in Passions and had the priviledge to meet him. He was a real gentleman.

I am told the organisers are now planning for 5/6 events a year. Brilliant.

Oh I almost forgot there were some chicas there...
