Hello my friends.
First I wanted to thank the members here for sharing all your great experiences and making a Newbie like me comfortable venturing to the DR for the first time. As I stated I will be arriving Jan 2, 2013 for a week and I have booked the hotel at Rocky's. From what I have read he is a great host and the hotel sounds like a good spot with a good vibe. I have made a number of trips to Costa Rica over the past few years and I am excited at the prospect of the Sosua experience. I definitely would love any and all feedback as to the current scene, action, tips, and things to do. Obviously I am looking for fun with the ladies and also would like to experience some of the areas local flavor. I will be arriving solo and Rick has arranged my pickup from the airport. I am a chef as my handle indicates and would love to find some good local joints for typical eats. I like snorkeling and boat ride- but not with boatloads of tourist, more small scale kinda thing preferable with locals. My Spanish is pretty decent so off the beaten path recommendations would be appreciated. Also I would appreciate any tips for making my time with the ladies more rewarding and more GFE would also be appreciated. Thank again for the info you've given me off this forum as well as future responds to this post.
