    Re: Newbie

What, is this the new "Welcome newbies" thread???

Glad to see all you new guys.

For those of you that are "not new to mongering, but new here", how about writing up some of your experiences?

    Howdy

Finally making my virgin trip to Sosua on June 2 until June 12. A newbie to the DR. but nearly fluent in Spanish (fluent to those who don't know better ) and a vet of CR, Peru, Nicaragua, Colombia, Mexico and the PI and LOS.

Mongering preference for TNLs- love to dance, so it sounds like Classicos might be a winner for me.

Mid 40s, and would to hang out with some expereinced DR mongers; perhaps I can provide info on other places

Welcome to a 'real' monger board, newbie! A little late to the Sosua party, but better late than never. Actually, things haven't really changed a whole lot since my virgin trip in '08 - a little gentrification and some additions here and there, but otherwise pretty much the same. Wish I could wing with you and show you the ropes, but saving up for my first to Asia later in the year. Anyways, knowing you, I'm sure you'll do fine...

Re: hello, I am new, and requesting info about brazil.

Best advice I can give you! Brings LOTS and LOTS of money! Quadruple whatever your budget is for your Sosua trips and then bring another thousand on top of that! It costs me about 2300 bucks just for plane tickets and my apartment stay for a 10 day trip. I am out $2,300 dollars before I even touch land!! That doesnt include any girls, food, taxis, nothing!! $2,300 dollars is my entire budget for a 10 day trip to Sosua, airfar, hotel, chicas and food!

And for the Quadruple money was the pussy 4 times tighter, the women 4 times hotter, the BBBJ 4 times better? Just saying
