    I am hoping that figure is an exaggeration, though there have certainly been some murders, but note that they were in Haïti (not the DR) and that the voudoyisans were the victims and not the murderers here. Certainly in one case in which three people were killed it was Christian "missionaries" who instigated the violence.

    Nonetheless lr444 warning is still valid. Don't disrespect people's religious beliefs.
