Guess you missed my point. What I'm saying is that by our participation in this site, we're all complicit in a certain type of 'exploitation' going on.

But exchanging info for entertainment purposes as opposed to being involved with a porno site, and shooting videos for profit with at best can be seen as under dubious circumstances is totally different.

Now EC is probably right when he says we have gotten on our high horses on this subject and need to climb down off of them. Can't argue with that. But what these dudes do and or did, is totally different in my book. When you start doing things for profit, you put yourself into a whole other league, and with that you have certain responsibilities.

So maybe you don't see a difference and I respect that, but we are talking apples and oranges here.

OUR motive in exchanging knowledge and different experiences may be for "entertainment purposes", but don't think for a minute that this site would exist if someone wasn't profiting financially by its existence. So in a less direct way, our writing, pics and video are resulting in their financial exploitation.

That's the particular beauty of web forums - the proprietor reaps the primary benefit of a bunch of other people providing your content. Not that there's not still a lot of sweat and toil involved in their creation, maintenance and promotion, but still much easier to have others provide most of your content than to create it all yourself. Trust me on that.

Actually, the chicas are likely profiting off ISOC far more than anyone else.

I know that, for me personally, I was only considering a trip to the DR when I found this board - a year and a half later I'm getting ready for trip #5. ISOC got $29.95 out of me, the chicas got much, much more. If this site is 'exploiting' them, for the most part it's to their own benefit.

here is my problem i have a few videos that got blown up and became very public of chicas in sosua snitches will snitch and the girls have seen these videos they became viral and spread threw the net i have not been back to sosua in about a year but wondering if i should just stay away since i have seen some of these girls on professional sites but last time i was there i got a lot of grief from chicas asking me to take down videos which i had not even posted i am wondering if i should just stay out of there entirely what are the possible ramifications here

I think the bottom line is that these girls can cause trouble for you. I dont know what your ability to deal with stress or get you out of stressful situations is. It seems like you already dealt with this before and you got out of it so maybe the confrontations were more the emotional help me out kind.

If they were the violent 'te voy dar un trompazo' or 'te voy partir la cara' type of confrontations that were never resolved then that's a liability to your safety. You never know when a drunk hooker or family member will be around.

Word got back to her, and she got the cops to arrest him and he spent some time in jail.

To clarify my earlier statements, I don't have a problem with someone if they want to shoot a porn movie for profit, and the girl is aware of all the ramifications of participating in making such a movie.

I do have a problem with someone who makes a porn movie without the girl fully realizing that the movie she is making is not for personal use, but is going up on the World Wide Net for profit. And that my amigos, is just all sorts of levels of wrong.

Probably, a lot of people there know about the videos (it seems like you were in a lot of them). Some snitch for sure would have informed the chicas about these videos.

One can easily be 'desaparecido' in a country like the DR for doing something like that.
