    Re: Shotting in sosua

Shit like this can happen anywhere and anytime we know that, but it seems that it usually happens 4-5AM at least from my observations.

Other than once or twice because of arriving on the red-eye flight after 2AM, I'm usually comfortably passed out or fuckin in my room by 3. Everyone rolls his own way and I'm not saying if you roll late into the morning not to, but personally I see no point to be out at that time for the most part. Too much pussy waiting to be tucked in earlier.

The DR could be such a great place to live if we could find a place to
banish all the junk people that live there.

That's like saying the hood would be a great place to live without the hoodrats. There are good people in the hood, but it's still the hood.

DR is no different than any other country in the world. Name one country in the world that has any major attractions, nightlife, entertainment, industry, beautiful women or anything else, but no "junk" people as you put it please. You're going to find good and bad everywhere. You take the good with the bad or choose to only go where you think there's good people and then you might be pretty damn bored.

It would be a better place to live if those ignorant people had better than a 4th grade education and just a decent level of social sophistication. If it were not for the chicas, this country would shrivel up and sink into the sea. And the world would be a better place! The DR is 18,000 square miles of uselessness and pure savagery.

    EDUCATION is where it starts.

    It's not insane, it's Dominican logic 101

They did this in POP several yrs ago on calle16 thinking it would keep the younger crowd away. Now, they all just stand in the middle of the street with their motos and presidentes blocking everyone from passing

Sadly you are correct. Give it 2 weeks.

In a town where many business owners have been hassled for just having a small advertising board on the sidewalk it has always seemed to me to be a peculiar anomaly to allow shit-hole bars to block pedestrian accessability with bar stools and tables.

It was a pleasure walking that tiny stretch last night without the usual melee of scumbags and skanks.

    A paradox for the ages.

With better than 4th grade educations and a higher level of social sophistication those Chicas would become unavailable to us. Be careful what you wish for....

    Shoe trees?

There's a big difference between the flip flops we pay for in the D.R. and $200 a foot call girl shoes in the U.S. That's what education and sophistication buys you. I vote we stop trying to export that bullshit.
