Last Sunday checked out a new cigar spot in SD with Mr. Happy. Nice place.

Also forgot the staff is friendly. I got the number of the chica that waited on us.

Also check out this place when you are in town. Regular bar but most of the chicas there are pros or semipros.

    Nice.

In Gazcue maybe this place is open:

    Puro Humo.
    Santo Domingo.
    809-274-0404.
Dirección: C/ Cesar Nicolas Penson esq. Dr. Delgado (gazcue).
    Horario: 8 a.m a 6 p.m de lun/sab

Azotea on about the 6th floor of the Dominican Fiesta Hotel, is a nice bar/lounge (live Jazz Friday nights) and a glass enclosed cigar lounge with assorted cigars for sale.

Lulú tasting bar in zona colonial has live jazz some nights in March, 2014.

DMV and I were talking about this place. I went by the other day, and it looked like they're doing some sort of construction.

I still think the Arturo Fuentes place on 27 feb is one of the nicest in town. I gotta take DMV there one of these days.

And let's not forget the newest place in town....

I liked it a lot better the way it was before. Big, "sink in up to your neck" black leather chairs and private rooms.

Now I wouldn't be surprised if it's one of the biggest cigar lounges in the country, if not the world. Lots of new Jeepetas out front too.

Make sure you check out the gallery- Dominicans know how to go over the top.

Yes. Cafe Cubano, Pedro Clisente #17. The best in Sosua. Ask for Brian, the owner. He'll help you make a great selection.

Heheh sorry to say but since Dominicans are loud talkers anyway, and will shout over each other, that band doesn't stand much of a chance. Doesn't look like an acoustically good venue either.

About half a block from GBP, it seems. Bust a nut at GBP for 1000 pesos ($23US), then head to fuente for a smoke, lol.

Is Hills in the new tower? Thanks.

    Pretty women work at Hills.

Chef Pepper on the same block. Praia there too, getting remodeled. And on the other side of Avenida Lope de Vega, Cats (which had starting prices at 500 pesos, last time I visited there, over a year ago).

My good friend Jenny (Gata) was the original owner/ operator of CATS. She's now in North Jersey pimping "Organo Gold" having married, moved to Miami and then moved on since.

She left the place in the hands of her amiga, Eliza (who may just be the best GFE on the island). Was Eliza still around on your last pass through there?

Just wondering. I've been away a long time and we've had some fond memories made at that place. We met Jenny in St. Maarten back in 2006 when she was working Casa Blanca and she made her dream happen when she got back home. She's still got a couple income properties in Santo Domingo and is doing well. I love a Ho story with a happy ending.
