    Re: Sosua is dead...what's next?

Damn, TNT72, were you monitoring my last trip. Saw this light girl with fake tits who was mean mugging a potential client every time he turned away from her. Talked about her bad attitude to my buddy and complained about her fake tits and less than solid ass.

Flash forward 3 days. I see her in After One. I'm like what the fuck she's cute enough and I want to see if the breast job is any good. Well after haggling back and forth she agrees to 2000 for one hour. She was very adament about how she would not stay a minute longer. I'm okay with this sometime you got to pay the entrance fee. Get back to the apartment she's actually a lot prettier than I thought and the breast job is more a lift and the tits are firm yet not hard. We have a great initial session even though she insists on CBJ. About 30 minutes in she quits on me, rolls over and falls asleep. 6 hours later at 1 pm she's still sleeping. I got the favorita coming over so I got no choice, but to kick her out. The episode spawned the only name I knew her by from there forward, "Una Hora".

We sparred over the next couple of days. Every time I saw her I'd point out a flaw to my buddy. Actually cut a deal with her and backed out because my little hoe friend who had promised me a half priced session called to tell me to pick her up. Flash forward 2 days later. I run into "Una Hora" at Copa. Don't ask me why, but I want to take her again. Of course she's pissed at me for not taking her a couple of days back so I got to damn near kiss her ass and absorb abuse before she finally after a hour of my trying to convince her to leave agrees to.

Get back to the apartment. She goes into straight Diva mode. We're verbally sparing back and forth back and forth. She lets me know that she thinks I'm an asshole. Finally we fuck. 15 minutes in she jumps up and wants to leave. Nothing I could do to keep her there. We damn near come to blows. Fuck this I pay her. She storms out he apartment and turns her ankle going down the stairs. I'm like good, god don't like ugly.

Next day I'm in Rumba. Ana II is there in the full glory of her new breasts and liposuction. She's looking smashing, but every thing is so tight that I think I might break her during a session. She and I got this stupid thing going on between us. Sometimes she likes me. Sometimes she hates me. That day she liked me. I get a very good price. I'm there giving her a hard time about not wanting to walk or take a moto to my place (she wants me to go get the rental our pay a taxi to take us the block and a half). Then out of the corner of my eye I see "Una Hora" walk into Rumba. Ana II was left in the dust. I had to grill Una about her behavior that morning.

I confront her. She has this contrite expression on her face like she was really ashamed of her actions. We talk. I buy drinks. Before you know it we're carrying on like long lost lovers. We make a deal for TLN. Head over to City Lights to hang out with her friends. She leaves me sitting a bit longer than I wanted to while she talks to the dominican owner. I leave in a huff (I know this shit is getting weird ). Go home change clothes. On the way to D'Latin she sees me from the City Lights balcony and rushes over. I go off on her about ignoring me and tell her if she can't respect me in the street then I don't want anything to do with her. I aprubtly end the conversation and storm off to D'Latin. She walks away almost crying. Been a very long time since I let a worker piss me off. Typically I could care less

After a less than satisfying night in D'Latin I go home and sleep alone on my final night. In the morning after I finish packing on a lark I send her a text. I don't expect a response, but she texts me right back. She needs to get dressed which means I won't have time to fuck her because I have to leave for the airport in an hour and a half. We agreed to meet to say goodbye.

I go pick up OMR and Mr NYC to have a final round of drinks. We chill at 4 Roses. Unbeknownst to me, my phone was on silent. Una Hora is blowing up my phone. I pull it out of my bag, see what has transpired and bid farewell to the fellows. She's staying at a place right off the strip which is in full view of anyone walking down Pedro. We embrace and hold each other for 5 minutes. Then I hug her again while playing with her hair. I hear my name. OMR and Mr NYC are looking right at my silly ass. I shine them on and keep doing what I'm doing. Time to go. I give her a kiss and head to the airport.

The chick is crazy and is like a light skinned version of my hoe ex-wife. They even have the same fuckin voice and share a personality. This probably explains why she crept up on me the way she did. Yeah, TNT72, crazy can be a powerful aphrodisiac.

No, Sousa isn't dead. It's just not what it was. You need to use your strengths to your advantage. Having a feel for the culture and being able to communicate in Spanish goes a long way. If you go there often, being a known quantity also goes a long way. There's still a lot to be said for the place for those who see no benefit in going into the wild to chase after pussy.

Some (hard to tell how much) of the increase in foot traffic in Sosua can probably be attributed to sites like this forum. Certainly, the Sosua Hype Machine got taken to another level in the last few years ala Cuba Dave, Mulano, etc. The guy that was doing porn in Sosua basically talked about how he got the blue print on Sosua travel from ISOC.

I've seen pics I've taken and posted here reposted by people on this very site and others may have seen the same thing. I'm sure pics/reports, etc. get copied, emailed, reposted somewhere else, come up in a google images search or whatever. I guess what I'm pointing to is that I can't blame any of these weekend worriers or anyone else that shows up to pussy paradise. After all, we helped to Hype the place up.

At the same time, occasionally there's some great advice and knowlege being imparted on here and some great sharing of resources on places to stay and things of that nature.

Some folks talk about places like Cuba and the Phils. One thing about both of these places that make them somewhat unique compared to Sosua is that you can't get to them as easily, which discourages a lot of folks from going. I guess that might also be considered one of the exciting things about going to these places. I'm sure once Cuba opens up, we'll see some of the same kind of changing dynamic that we've seen in places like Sosua, including the internet Hype machine.

And thats the problem for me as well.

I know Sosua isnt as great as we remember it - in fact - our last 3 visits there we have said would be our last.

But - the beach, the restaurants, the atmosphere, knowing you are going to meet up with guys from here, easy to get to other places, oh - and there are whores there - mean we get stuck in a rut - chasing memories of better times.

Going to be strong though - Kenya/Mombassa is next on the list!

Definitely June this year - probably weeks 2/3 or 1/2.

We will go "all inclusive" - but some of the Thomas Cook hotels are "guest friendly" and get bad reports on trip adviser as they allow prostitutes into the hotel!

Which means - those are the hotels we will book!

Dani Beach resort - £600 2 weeks All inclusive
    Severn Seas - £550 - B&B

This includes flights - transfers etc on a dreamliner - never been on a dream liner.

May do the Severn Seas - as we will get out and explore.

Just mailed both hotels for the guest policy.

The UK travel agents show that the rooms sleep 2/3 people - so I have asked if I can bring a "friend" back to the hotel for drinks for a couple of hours.

Will see what the response is.

2nd June - 14 nights - crap flight times - but hey - its cheeper than the flight to DR alone!

Too many damn black folk a.k.a. African Americans. Those of us that are real to who we are as "brothers" for damn well know that shit is the real truth!!! We grew up with it our whole lives and know how to deal with it.

When have I not ever told the bottom line truth?
I don't think that's right, it's not actually a race thing, it's a YOUNG thing. I've seen a huge increase in young guys there of late from 4 years ago, it just
happens most happen to be black, but if young'uns be it white, latinos, Asian, or anything else found themselves there they too would be doing stupid shit.
We don't catch feelings, we catch flights.

Yes, and No. Very hard to compare the girls from these two different cultures, they simply have a different mindset. Plenty of crazy in the Philippines as well
it's just a different kind of crazy. You can find many girls that will go see you after work, on day off, call out of work to see you, and those are just the ones
from the bars, you're rolling the dice seeing them this way, but here the odds are very much in your favor. I'd say the odds of a girl trying to get over on you
or steal from you or get you in trouble, is very very low, compared to Sosua where it's very high. That said, I love that whore village with the beach as well,
I have no plans to stop going there, just going a bit less.

Currently in Sosua as I write this, last night D'Latin was pact and at some point, they stopped playing hip hop and started playing Latin music until a group of weekend warriors dressed in all white came in, one of them went over to the DJ booth and was allowed to sit right next to him, the next thing you know, the latin music stopped and it was back to hip hop. The weekend warriors are ruining Sosua. Oh I am an African American male who has been going to Sosua since 2006 and seen the changes. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of girls to be had, but the vibe is not the same.

    Re: Sosua is dead...what's next?

I typically avoid these types of threads because it often goes down an uneccesary road but here we go.... Please, please, please quit all the belly aching. If you hate a place that much, then stop going...find another spot...and keep it moving. If my favorite restaurant changes chefs and goes downhill, then I find somewhere new. I don't continue to go for years and years and complain to anyone who will listen about how bad it is. Same principle with Sosua and/or the DR as a whole. Here's a little known tidbit of information...."Things change" Get over it or move on. At the very end of the day, Sosua is still a paradise with beautiful young women who are perfectly willing to sleep with your old, overweight, hairy, sweaty ass. I don't say that as some sort of insult (maybe just a little) but it's the truth. Constantly getting upset that some beautiful, exotic 22 year old would have the audacity to ask for more money than your liking is pathetic. If a chica quotes me something more than I'm willing to pay, I laugh her off and keep walking toward the next one. But speaking of more money, let's address what one of the other posters mentioned when it comes to exchange rates. I began going around 2007 when exchange rates were around 32-34 (many of you may have started before that when rates were even lower but I digress). Let's do a little math for the "I remember when chicas were 1,500 pesos" crowd:

    Back in the day...
    1,500 pesos/33.0(avg) = $45.45

Now they have the unmitigated gall to dare an ask for 2,000 or 2,500

    2,000 pesos/43.0 = $46.51
    2,500 pesos/43.0 = $58.13

So all of this belly aching and crying over approximately $12???? Twelve fucking dollars a night causes all of this whining? I remember when flights would cost me $250 - $325. Now I am paying $550 - $650 on average. Cab rides from my house to the airport cost more, parking at the airport costs more, a chicken sandwich in the airport costs more, everything has fucking gone up but we continue to go. But how dare a chica try to keep pace with inflation and take care of her family?!?! I bet that restaurant lunch with the co-workers back home is close to $12 and you dont give it another thought. But that damn third world bitch better know her place huh?

And let's talk about the Hip-Hop music and "Weekend Warriors" code speak that has ruined EVERYTHING! Once again...God forbid you have to deal with ANYTHING that is not to your liking. Put some beautiful sex-crazed Latin women in a country music bar somewhere and I'd be a Carrie Underwood listening fool. And while I agree that the ultra young, wife beater wearing, walk around like they own the place folks are a little annoying, I can still have the time of my life with MY friends or wingmen and pay little to no attention to others. I think they problem is some folks were accustomed to feeling like they OWNED the place and everyone there once upon a time, but now it ain't quite the same. Sounds like a familiar story....

It's not about folks who were accustomed to feel like they owned the place, when i first went to Sosua back I 2006, I made it a point to learn the language, the culture and music. Did not try to impose my American culture on the island.Sosua is for everyone, including the WW crowd but I just wished they would learn to accept latin culture and music instead on imposing on it. Not to long ago, when Classico/Merengue and SosuaLife/Latinos were the top club, Bachata, Merengue fill the air on the street of Pedro Clisante st. Hip hop was rarely played. If you wanted to hear hip hop, you had to go across the street from Classico to The Winner Circle Bar. Today hip hop dominates the night life of Sosua. I don't hate hip hop, I like some at the right place and time. Like a strip club back in the states. But when I travel thousands of miles to tropical Latin America country the last thing I want to hear is hip hop. P.S. I would slit my throat if Country music dominated the scene in Sosua. LOL.
