Visited the bar at this spot on my last trip... also took a look at their lounge...

As BigLongBeach said, I figure there might be "guest fees," if you have a rotation going.
If you don't do it, someone else will!
This looks alot like the new Ocean Club next to Infinity Blue. Maybe a new name is coming for this property.
There's more news in the "And The Beat Goes On (Sosua)" thread.
US $595 a night, for the cheap rooms. For those prices, I wouldn't give a fried fart whether or not they're chica-friendly; I can spend a week at Casa Cayena or Victorian House for $595, and have money left over for chicas and cervezas. From DR1:
Gansevoort Hotel to open in Sosua
The Gansevoort Hotel Group is banking on the revitalization of Sosua. Their deluxe oceanfront resort is scheduled to open on 15 December 2014 at Playa Imbert (Calle Bruno Philip 5, El Batey), the Gansevoort Hotel Group announced this month. The former Ocean Club Luxury Residence in Sosua will be reopening as Gansevoort Playa Imbert.
The resort will have 48 luxury suites in loft layouts, along with three-bedroom apartments and four-bedroom penthouses.
The hotel amenities include a three-tiered cascading infinity pool overlooking the beach, the Baia Lounge restaurant under chef Giancarlo Fiori whose credits include working at the world-famous, Michelin 3-star El Bulli restaurant in San Sebastian Spain, La Cantina Wine and Cigar Cellar, a fitness center and spa. Yoga and meditation sessions will be offered.
Rates will range from US$595 to US$5,000 a night including breakfast for two, and round trip transfer to the Puerto Plata International Airport (POP).
In the announcement, Gansevoort founder and president Michael Achebaum said: "Gansevoort prides itself on bringing a whole new level of service and amenities to emerging destinations. From Playa Imbert to Cabarete, we love the vibe and beauty of the north coast and believe there's a unique opportunity to create something truly special for the luxury market here."
For its initial property, Gansevoort led the revitalization of the once gritty Meatpacking District in New York City by opening the first and only full-service five-star hotel in the neighborhood, Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC. Recognizing its success in New York, the group opened in the Caribbean, debuting Gansevoort Turks + Caicos as the first island location for the boutique brand. A second Gansevoort hotel in New York, Gansevoort Park Avenue NYC, opened to much fanfare in 2010, and has become synonymous with celebrity, fashion and entertainment.

Rots o' ruck, Gansevoort. (That's Dutch, isn't it? Does it translate to "goose-fart?" )

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. – H. L. Mencken
