they were setting up and giving out samples
They were giving out sample pizzas the first few days before opening.
100's of samples
They were ready to open Gusto Tropical Pizza
They finally opened and we ordered a pizza
like a calzone
everything fresh
That Pizzeria looks very Delish
BUT
The business end of those Pizza Peels.. (that large thing they use to put the pizza in the hot oven and then take it back out)
should NEVER be on the Dirty Floor like that..
They make WALL RACKS SPECIFICALLY FOR them
look it up.
maybe thats how you guys got Sick... even with the hot oven touching it, you dont know whats on that dirty floor and then transfers to your pizza crust which you are eating.
just sayin.. Place looks nice though..
You do You, I'm gonna Do Me!!
"Don't tell me what a man says, don't tell me what a man knows, tell me where he's traveled?"
Not in this pic....
and never mind the fact that the DRAIN is open right there ....
but i guess im just being way too picky for DR standards..
and i dont want to beat the horse... it was just a thought...
They are obviously in the middle of still finishing the Restaurant..
And just to be Clear I would definitely TRY the Pizza, it looks great....
Definitely nasty! Something now that you pointed out I'll be looking for. DAMN! Hopefully this is not an issue in my favorite pizza spot in sti. But If I can lick a Chicas ass , I can probably over look a peel resting on the floor!
I'm guessing the picture I'm referring to is newer because the open drain is connected to a sink and painted.
If you haven't already, try this place out. It's about 20 yards west of Janets in Cabarete on the same side of the road. It's a little more authentic and pretty good imo.
Disclaimer- the pics are from 2012, but I saw them still open as late as earlier this year iirc.
The guy is a little nuts, but fun.
Kirk Hammett and Keith Richards opened a Pizza Parlor ???
Awesome....
Looks good.. will try it out..
