Returning to Sosua is just like riding a bike. Some things may change, places will close, open, the crowd will relocate etc...but you never forget how to do it and if you do get lost somehow, it usually end up making the experience better, so enjoy the changes and welcome the adventure.

My Friends, 2 questions. My Man is flying into Punta Cana, probably around lunch time. He is not driving. What is the best way to get to Casa Cayena in the Sou?

2nd. Generally, Is it hard to negotiate for the back door entry or just a discussion and a price upgrade? Asking for a friend....

if not POP,,He should have at least flew into STI,,,,unless that was not an option,,,,,,
like jimmy said Hes looking at miminum 5.5 hours,,,,,
and probably more like 6-7 hours,,,,

Your friend might want to seriously consider changing his flight unless he has other plans in Punta Cana.

If he is only there for 5 days like you are, he is litterly going to spend 2 of those days traveling from Punta Cana to Sosua and back.
If you start looking at bus times he would probably leave Bravaro around 3:00pm and get into Puerto Plata around 11pm which would get him to Sosua sometime after that. And that assumes everything stays on schedule.

Start pricing a taxi and the cost will likely be more than flight.

So by the time he is done it might not be all that much more to change his flight and he will have lot's more time to enjoy in Sosua

No buy a ISOC membership and do some research first before booking perhaps.
So you would know that getting from Punta C to SU is no easy task.

But we don't know the whole story yet maybe he has a really good reason for going to Punta C first.

5 days in the DR has to be better than those same 5 days at home getting text messages from your buddies telling you how much fun they are having.
