01/2017 - New Year's Eve and forward in Sosua

5 of us arrived and got together overlapping for 6 - 12 days.

Some in hotels and some in condos.

Not going to try and post fotos from my phone but will get around to it later

Food, Beach and relaxing are the focus.

Tried not to just repeat restaurants but we're showing a newbie around.

Found an excellent place to eat. New late last year. Ottimo restaurant. Italian and has a limited but decent breakfast special from 100 pesos.

It's behind Valentino's with the main entrance off the little triangle park across from Bailey's

I have to say I expected more people in town... not that this bothers me, the opposite.. but being January I thought there were more mongers around... chicas are starving...

Cool Re: 01/2017 - New Year's Eve and forward in Sosua

Back in Canada and more or less recovered lol

I found Sosua and many of the restaurants crowded. The beach pretty busy. There were MANY happy business people. The hotel was busier than ever.

It was hard to get seated sometimes so we got into the habit of making dinner reservations. Some of the businesses that are practically "sucking you dick" when times are tough don't see to recognize you when it's busier. So fuck them...

Rolleyes Re: 01/2017 - New Year's Eve and forward in Sosua

Returned home to a strange computer virus on my (powered off and unplugged while away) desktop. A google/chrome redirect thingy that was seriously fucking with my chi

I eventually got what I thought was the obvious solution to work....a chrome cleanup tool https://www.google.com/chrome/srt/ to work. It would not work initially and I finally, after trying "everything else", remembered to try it again.

Now I can get to posting some food porn for Jimmy!

Pictures Re: New Year's Eve and forward in Sosua

Sorry I missed you! I did look for you, ate in the restaurant a couple of times and chased some guy (who I thought looked like you) down Alejo Martinez.....but it wasn't you unless you

I chose not to bring a laptop, could not get isoc working on my little tablet and the wifi at the hotel, and often around town and on the beach, was for shit. MANY account issues on the weekends and no one around to fix them. Trying to read ISOC on my phone is simply too painful lol and posting...and pics....hell no!

It was an excellent trip! (They almost ALL are )

A regular....a couple of other repeats that will not be revisited again, a $100 chica....NOT, a close call with fake ID, a few new chicas, many that I did not have time to bother with, too much fucking rain the last week and I ate too much!

Laughing Re: 01/2017 - New Year's Eve and forward in Sosua

I'm trying to get fotos from my old cell that I used as a camera.... I may even have a chica pic or 3... I'll figure it out eventually. I'm not the geeky tech guy I once was. Don't give a fuck about that shit now. Life's too short!

We mostly hung at Big D's and El Velero/El Toro Negro on the beach. Excellent food, great service and really nothing to complain about.

Well....except for some holes in the beach umbrellas that "Let the sun shine in" a little too intensely one afternoon when I fell asleep under one... 2nd degree blistery burn on a knee.... (Pics to follow LOL)

Obviously my fault. You can't expect anyone, any business, etc...to be concerned with your wellbeing. Not even expats.
