Well last night it seem to be 70/30 hip hop to Latin music. Most of the patrons were AA. I was sitting and drinking watching the Bears beat the Cowboys on the big screen. There were a few attractive girls there but they were already taken. Well let see what tonight brings.

Pretty nice, although #2 in the white top and booty-shorts is too "fluffy" for my tastes ...

Westy, are you trying to say you don’t like 34 DDD breasts on a 5’2” frame? There was nothing fluffy about that girl. She has a uniquely wicked body. There’s no sag in those things. They are full and she has a flat belly. I’m certain that at 30 after a couple of kids she’ll look like shit, but right now just WOW. You really should see her naked.

Re: 07/2019 - Current situation in Sosua

The last time that I was here during the holiday season was two years ago. I was creating a new roster of contracts then, so I didn't have the 'relationships' that I have now.

This has been a really weird week for me. While I took a few days off from drinking/going out, found myself doing a lot of reflecting. Next thing I found myself opening up to some of my amigas...Oen came by just to talk, we just talked, gave her 50 pesos for a moto and nothing more....A day later she comes over in tears, now it's my time to try to listen.......great acting job, real emotional issues, or a little of both is always the question with these girls.....

Anyway, that's just one specic example. Point is that I've coincidenatllly been receiving a lot of 'mi vida es muy deficl' sad talk....from those that are normally happy and easy to be around. Some are not in current rotatoin, some are new and just trying to get something started, so all types. Seems that there is a lot more anxiety these girls are feeling toward the holiday season.

Just after dark took a moto to the gym and street rats were all over in from of Sansabar (sp?) and down the street toward Rocky's. All the same type of chicas that they don't want mainstream tourists to see. Damn there were a lot of birds out. God bless street rats.

The disco formerly known as After One seems to be testing the sound and doing some last minute touches in hopes to be open tomorrow at 10PM. Word I got was that it will be more regular club hours, rather than an after hour spot like before. We will see.

Is it where Clasico's and Merengue (Hot Peppers) teams plan to relocate?

Can someone please update on what I've read recently with respect to a major public beach.

As you know there is a beach itself, then a shaded strip of land with casitas and shacks behind the beach sandy road up to the highway, and and then land behind the highway that goes uphill.

I've heard that that shaded parcel of land is going to be developed for condos/hotels

The access to beaches in Dom Rep is public. However, if the small bars and shaded area at the public beach disappear, it will be a major blow to Sosua at least in my eyes.

Most of that land from behind the shacks to the road is Dominican private owned and there is more chatter of late that some potential development might be on the near horizon

2 or 3 years ago at least the powers that be announced they were going to tear down all
Of the shacks and were going to build areas at either end of the beach that could be rented

There was such an uproar by the people running the shacks that it was dropped for now

Gotta believe the day is coming when they show up with bulldozers and its going to be a very bad day for some i am afraid

They cant totally shut down access to the beach since as you said all beaches in the dr are public

The good thing about the dr particularly sosua is even though they make rash quick decisions and partially act on them rarely do they ever fully complete anything

we will be talking about this stuff 3-5 years from now but no doubt the current actions have caused damage to the locals there that were struggling before. Probably gonna get worse
