There are comedors all over Sosua. A couple of times I’d grab a pizza from Baileys. Also ate at Ary’s and Flip Flop. Generally I can’t stand the food in Sosua unless I cook it.

Good to hear Ary's and Baileys are still around.

I will keep an eye out for you. We hit the beach every day.

I have a bunch of FB fiends lined up. Looks like the girls are hungry.

I got a bunch of those pequeñas from POP chasing after me also. I may see one. The others like you implied are just too thirsty.

That little sports bar is one of my favorite spots to eat, my recent trip probably found me having a meal there about every other day. Tasty, good portions and a fair price. Plus the staff provides some nice eye candy!

When I first got to Sosua, after unpacking and getting my studio squared away, I hit up Flip Flop and after exchanging pleasantries with El Rey and ordering a grande, one of the first things he said was that I had just missed you. Maybe you left a few minutes before I arrived, or the day before. IDK.

    Maybe next time down.

Though I was never a fan of this place, I must admit that this place was packed and had its followers. Hell, at one point, one of the most popular thread on this site was Ad opens Rancho Tipico. Part of its success was Ad himself, who knows how to run a business. It’ll be interesting to see if the new Rancho will be successful as the old one.

I just came back from a 7 day trip where I spent the first 3 days in Puerto Plata and 4 in Sosua. I do like the new Sosua during the day, it's very peaceful now, sadly
at night there isn't much going on. I had a good time overall but had a much better time in Puerto Plata, much more to do during day and night. I stayed in an airbnb
near the anfiteatro on the malecon, it was close to park central and very lively day and night. Might be my new spot going forward unless the nightlife improves in
    Sosua.
We don't catch feelings, we catch flights.

EUROPA - I have just recently started hanging out at the bar at Hoatel Europa. I think it may be my neighborhood chill spot. For 1-2 drinks it's a great place to listen to some bachata, merengue etc..not crazy loud, but nice. And I must say that the staff are really pleasant, fun and friendly. Ramona, the woman that runs the bar is really cool--good people from all accounts. We had a pretty good crowd there New Years Eve as well.

The nachos may be the best that I've had in Sosua. I'm not familiar with the menu yet, but working on it.

I just noticed recently the restaurant inside. Looks like a pretty decent setup.

One of the cooks is now my PT housekeeper and may want more.......so I don't want to go in too often........Lines are easily blurred.

The rumor that Classicos was gonna reopen because they won a court battle and the mayor would have to pay 20,000 a day in lost wages if she didnt let them open.

    Seems to be FALSE.....

rumors rumors rumors....everything still shut rumba-classicos-etc. looks like gonna stay that way..
