07/2019 - Current situation in Sosua

Nothing has re-opended that was rumored to. Seems that most on the ground stopped talking about it and are going about enjoying things with the options that they do have.

I am not reading a lot of what is being posted online for 2 reasons:

1 - Too much eye strain
2 - I have a short attention span for negativity and mere speculation.

I will ask a few chicas this week for their experience so far at Ahnvhee and the casino since things closed. Are they making $, more clients/less clients etc.....

Now that I think about it, really doesn't make much difference I'm guessing. Those that were holding their own before through a combination of social media contacts, ex-pats, and various bars, are probably still doing so. Those that were struggling are still having trouble competing I'd guess.

I'm not quite sure how Ahnvhee is running things like when they let chicas in to just hang out vs. when they have to be visiting a client. Yesterday I heard there was a long line in the afternoon in front so I'm sure they were checking visitors or there was a time restriction as to when they could enter for an event.

Heard the Sunday Bourbon St. crowd was big for the NFL games yesterday and not many chicas at all were hanging around then.

So Toro is wifing up for a few days before a quick Thanksgiving visit to the states.

I ask wifey, since the closures, is it easier or more difficult to 'earn' $ at Ahnvhee and Playa Chiquita then it was at the other places. She makes much of her $ from social media, some Europeans met in Caberete and not so much time spent on PC before--I've never seen her on PC before. Her answer is, that it is very easy for her and her amiga to make $ in Ahnvhee and Paya Chiquita becuase some many people are in one place now, guys have rooms on-site etc.....I don't want to know and wouldn't ask, but if she told me how many guys she may have been with there over the course of the weekend, I'd probably send her home. lol

We have to have a pimp's mentality soetimes......I don't care about the last guy or the next guy as long as she gives me what I expect, want, or need from her.....

this is where the familiarity over time and relationship management pays more dividends to both parties....better mileage, bang for your buck etc...

I heard last week about a chica leaving High Caribe just trying to walk to her car to go home being arrested. Nothing surprises me.

The message went from 'we don't want prostitutes in the main part of town' to 'we want to end prostitution in Sosua'.

So just because they pushed it to the southside (perhapds not south, but what I call it) for the time being, doesn't mean that it's going to allow chicas to move freely outside of places that allow it.

At this point it hasn't been verified, I think we should wait a bit, to see if that is true or not.
