    Seems to be FALSE.....

rumors rumors rumors....everything still shut rumba-classicos-etc. looks like gonna stay that way..
The only ones clamoring for Clasico to be reopen are the employees, which is understandable, and a bunch of guys who know no better. Time to move on. The girls have gone nowhere and absent the police harassment a less hard core crop are making the decision to show up. Guys should be rejoicing.

The origanl Rumba is supposed to open this Friday according to what Ray told me yestrday. Sunday when I was over that way it appeared to be open to me but I guess they were just working and the TVs were on, but they were closed.

Rumbas is still not open as of last night. Wish it would open. Need a pace to hang at night without heading all the way down to the end off clasante.

I was down that way Sunday night and nothing going on down there either although it was a rainy night. I Was in RT about 1:00 AM and maybe 6 other people beside my date and I.

I was also in Ahmvee for the first time last night. Not much going on about midnight. Many people huddled under roof to keep dry. Didn’t see anything I would have grabbed but didn’t search much as I had a date with me.

Watched the Packers pull one up. Made my son happy.

Looks like it might be a mice place to hang. Very spacious with a lot of tables. I may give it another shot.

Sky Box on the back of the property was open everyday at 11pm when I was there. Everyone was leaving the restaurant area and heading there when its late. I hope they did not change.

I was sitting in my friend's restaurant on Pedro Clisante this afternoon and a member of the Tourism Board came in to talk and told my friend the owner that all the closed bars are allowed to reopen as of next Saturday. My friend asked him ALL the bars and he said yes.

Exactly. There never was a court case. Pockets needed to be filled. Same ol' same ol' in Sosua and in the DR......for the time being. I think they'll be shut down again because it's not wanted in that section anymore. The fools keep dishing out money to stay in business and keep their location. Bobby from Rumba was the only smart business man. When he was escorted our of the country he never came back. He understood what was going on.

The mayor promised to close to Pedro Clisante every Saturday night to have entertainment. It has happened once. She has left everybody hanging and searching for ways to survive.

    Ain't this the truth.

….honestly, who here really liked Clasico? I hated it. It was a fire trap, too hard to get a drink and too many damn people.

It came years after I stopped going to Sosua.
