Re: 07/2019 - Current situation in Sosua

A quick Hunter view of the scene...just got back..

Lower Pedro - dead. No vibe obviously....The German place is still open with the old German fucks complaining Jolly Rogers is rocking with normal expats...whats that...

There are rats still in the German club and those small bars on Rosen going toward New Garden. The Spandex 5s are still around during the day and night just not as many...

Did check out the new Rumba at Maura Mai....Went there Sunday night for quick beer to watch Pats lose...dead...there were a table of hos though...So that is encouraging and I asked doorman if chicas can sit down...he said yes...Got vibe it is just Guys place...All the Spandex girls arent going to be at new Rumba now.

Beach Didnt spend a ton time down there. But Sunday hung out for a while. The groups of girls sitting around tables with weekend warriors at #67 were not there like last 2 trips I have been. Remember hanign with Sage and OMG and there were bunch of girls there. Not this Sunday. Could just be the Sunday. Werent a lot of guys either...maybe thats why. There are still girls walking up and down....Saw this cute haitian spinner in white hot pants....Funny hanging outside my room at Valeria and my next door neighbor is with her..lmao....

Ahvvee This is obvously where everyone is now. Toro said it well. Its Bourbon St Mergengue Classicos all in one. Went there with Toro for first time Saturday. This is schedule...8-12 everyone hangs around pool...Its pretty cool.. Open air with a pool and Bourbon Beach bar right by the pool...chicas all around in groups...Its like a big cocktail party....the girls arent aggresive so you have to charge. At 12 everyone walks to another pool and walks up 3 flights of stairs to a fire hazard called skybox....place is jam packed and you cant move. Sage had nice spot on the railing...that dog...I was only there about an hour with Toro on Saturday. There are girls everywhere...all sizes and shapes. I wasnt in pulling mode. The Spandex were there and some higher tier ones. Sage pulled some good ones from what he told me so all is not lost.

Was there around pool Sunday and Monday for a couple hours ...Sunday to watch Pats lose...Monday hanging with Toro and HQ guy.....Quality and quanitiy went down. Those girls just arent mine and Cams type

High Caribe Went there at 2am after Toro pulled a cute girls with glasses from Skybox....nice job Toro the weekend warrior

Caribe was dead. Mostly white guy expats with there haitian girlfriends. Apparentely they just cant get things going there. The Haitain girls are going where the warriors are - Ahhvee....no warriors in Caribe so no clients.

Casino Went at 2:30-3am Saturday....dead. Ahhvee closes late so that is taking money out of willys pocket...bet he not happy...

Thats about it. It was a facebook DC import trip...no retail...Good 4 day trip...too packed in though. I am getting too old to leche like a warrior...lol...

I did one in Puerto Plata, one in MDE (where it's closed regularly for maintenance), one in Jakarta, in SDQ they also closed for maintenance and in PTO PTA was closed for longer period as all parts are Swiss or Italian

In Sosua they can build a beach boardwalk, build some cool high rises, a zip line, a beer pipeline, etc but who am I to tell them what they need, in fact, the best way for them is to write a charter and secede the Dom Rep
‘Forbear to judge, for we are sinners all’

Looks like the game of Chica Whack-A-Mole is still going on in Sosua.....

Funny that trying to draw the action away from PC actually brings it closer to the beach.... what will all the new family tourists think????

I have to admit to liking the new changes. The place was a lot more tranquil. I’d compare the scene favorably to the Sosua of old. Unlike Hunter I’m not as particular with talent so I had more than I can handle. Ahnvee was cool. I didn’t expect that. No comparison to the whorish atmosphere in Clasicos. Overall I had a great time. Yet I did have a car which made getting around a lot easier.

And a vast stretch of arid desert populated by the occasional oasis of small bars in between?

The motoconcho guys will reap a fortune in transporting folks from end to end and back again.

Maybe the powers that be should just install a zip line from end to end of PC. Charge 100 pesos per person. City Hall will be rolling in dough!
Might be a good place to rent golf carts by the day or week.

    Only problem might be ..............

Park the golf cart and grab a couple beers and when you come back out...................

    It's gone..............

If Merengue/Clasico goes into the old Casino and Rhumba's opens in the Morua Mai location, there are 2 hangouts right by each other near the top of the road down to the beach. Will have to see how it plays out with all the enforcement going on.

There was some big stink about them being required to have insurance for them but you couldn’t actually get insurance for them or something stupid like that. There was a canadian dude that used to drive around in one and one of hotels i think made one available

The ww boys started miss using them and there was a fairly serious accident with one. It was about that time they basically outlawed them

In belize on san pedro island that is pretty much how they get around. They have thousands of them there

    This sounds encouraging ...

I'm going to pop in to POP, week-after-next, for my birthday; I've got five nights booked at "the petting zoo" (Blackbeard's), but I might slide on down to Sosua for the last couple of days (if I can get a room there for Friday night; that's a "big if," I'm sure.) No scuba, this trip, but I may take a catamaran sailing-and-snorkeling excursion, and I'll see if I can get the girls to cooperate for some pool photos ... maybe like this one, which I got in their pool years ago:

I’m currently in Sosua right now, and you’re right, during the day time it reminds me of the Sosua I first ventured in 2006 minus Passions, but at night it looks completely dead. Ahnvee is the spot right now and it sucks. Quality is down, the DJ at Ahnvee played a mostly hip hop set to cater to the WW crowd that seem to cannot live with out it. Out of all my 20+ time I’ve been to Sosua, this trip so far would rank at the bottom.

I was there the last two weekends. The DJ mix was about 60/40 in favor of Latin. Even the hip hop wasn’t too bad because it was the newer stuff. Overall the crowd at Ahnvee surprisingly was not predominately AA. As to chica quality while not stellar it was more than okay. Not sure what you like in women, but there were a lot of sexy barrio types around. Not real beauties yet cute enough. And in the mix were a few real beauties though not a lot.
