    Jimmydr,
Gotta clarify just a bit. It's on the MOUNTAIN road from Puerto Plata to Santiago.
After you go through the moutains, and you've got Santiago in your sites, as you're getting close to the bottom of the mountain, you'll come to a Texaco station on your left. You cut through the Texaco, and go left on the road that passes behind it.(if you go right, it will bring you back to the road you turned off of).
Not to far from the station, you'll come to where there is a turnoff to the left, and there's a sign that says Camp David Ranch. Turn there, ans start goin' up the hill. The road ends at the hotel.
If you think it's love try not paying in the morning..

Now this makes more sense. However, i take the other mountain road through licey/moca so i'm not that familiar with this one. But thanks for clarifying.

Make sure you bring a light jacket or a long-sleeve shirt. It gets a bit cool at night. The view is very nice!

You may also want to go up a little eary if you are going to eat. The restaurant frequently fills up around 11 at night. I have been at many a dinner there with big groups that didn't leave until 2 in the morning.
