Ran into Sosua last night with a few buddies of mine for about the 3rd time this trip. This is significant because I rarely hang out in Sosua any more these days, and haven't for some time. I told my cousin I was going to treat him to some pussy since it was his birthday, and he loves the hell out of Sosua, so that's where we went.

We stopped in at Sosua Life first. I don't know what to say, but whoever's telling some of these dames they can make money whoring needs to stop lying to these bitches. I saw some trannies, and some dames who looked like trannies. I'm not quite sure how these dames are making a living enough to stay on the stroll, but if I were a dame and looked like some of what I saw, I'd find another fuckin job!

We decided to move on over to Classicos, where I haven't been in almost 18 months, I would guess. I'm just not much for large crowds with all the pushing and shoving. However, it wasn't too bad this particular night, and there was certainly a better selection than I've seen in some of these other joints.

A buddy of mine saw a dame that he had seen the previous night and who he really wanted. I told my Dominican buddy to tell the girl my buddy wanted her for 2500 peso TLN. She came over and he bought her a drink and they started talking as best they could with his almost non-existent Spanish and her limited English. You know what? I know from my limited experience that there was a time when 2,500 peso would get a bitch in Sosua, before some people started paying the higher prices. Now these dames are starting out with 4-5,000 pesos for TLN. I refuse to pay! I remember last year when the liquor laws were changed and there was alot of comments on this board assuming that prices would go down because there were then not going to be enough hours for the chicas to make money. I've gotten to the point where if it's going to cost me more than 2,000 I'll sleep alone. Absolutely. It seems to me that there are too many guys out there who are approaching the situation as if the economics were relative to the US. Their attitude is "Well, if I was in the US I'd be paying 200-300 for a fuck, so what's 100 for a night here in the DR." It's because we're in the DR. You pay US prices in the US.
