inside a cave 50 feet below the surface

Meson de La Cava is built inside a cave 50 feet below the surface. Located at Avenida Mirador del Sur; (809) 533-2818.
This popular restaurant is set underground, inside a cave. There I was living out my Dr. No fantasies, being served a fine steak meal in my cavernous lair.
One could have a cave-day in Santo Domingo. During the day, go to Tres Ojos cave complex. Then have dinner at Meson de la Cava. Then, go at midnight to La Guacara Taina. You too, could be one of the mole people.

I went to La Guacara Taina... when i went to SDQ back in DEC2002... it was very much a couples place the night i was there and i didnt see any tourists at all!! then again the place was so dark i didnt see much at all... i had a beer and left... almost caught an asthma attack trooping up the caves steps on my way out... maybe another night would have been better but i wouldnt go back unless you told me there was an orgy or something... i know this is not a restaurant but its the first time ive heard this place mentioned on here so i figured i should give my review... plus it wasnt cheap and i didnt pay a "gringo " price ... the price was posted on the lil window where you purchase tickets... i forgot the price but it may have been close to $10 to get in if thats possible...

Yes. You are correct. It is best to bring your own babe to Guacara Taina. Also, Tres Ojos is a BYOB place.

Don't know any girls that wouldn't want to party down there. It has a 250 peso cover.

Like I said, a cave day.

I went to this cave restaurant for lunch and there was no entry fee. The food was excellent! But expensive! This is a very nice restaurant for a date.

Absolutely!!!!!!!!!!! A waaaaaaaaay cool place to eat. The most ungodly pina coladas I have ever had, served in a fresh coconut with a big hole whacked off the top.

Highly recommended!!! 5 stars for sure!!!!!!

But you're fucked if the place ever caught on fire...

There is a back door to Meson De La Cava that does not require going up the stairs. It is through the kitchen and empties out bahind the place. . . . .just in case. . . .

You don't have to have Spanish Language skills at Guacara Taina but it helps.

Tons of regular chicas to satiate desires both subtle and gross...

When you can think of yesterday without regret and tomorrow without fear, you are near contentment.
Your opinions are not my problem...
