i may have passed through almost all of them but i didnt know it... i know i have never been to La Romana
I put other for Costamber, Cofresi and Sabenetta.
i got about 10 i think...many, many, more to go!
When you can think of yesterday without regret and tomorrow without fear, you are near contentment.
Your opinions are not my problem...
I guess I have to put Monte Plata and Cotuí on the itinerary for my next trip.

PS: You could have broken up Moca and Santiago into two seperate options.
"This above all: to thine own self be true"-William Shakespeare
Early results point to the north coast. They were at the top of list, accidently on purpose? I've never been to the others so I can't be objective.
I picked the top four.
San Juan de Maguana - west of the capital near the Haitian border. "Republica Dominicana Profundo". The sticks for sure, but friendly people and a lot of beauties.
Seven for me...I STILL have to get out more!
I have been to 14 so far. I have plans for adding rio san juan and samana in the near future and barahona after those. San pedro wasn't on the list, or juan dolio, or bonao. . . . ., san cristobal. . . . .so I should be at 18. . . .lol
I checked 10 myself and like ptyr2 has up top SanPedro and a couple of other places where not added, you need to spend at least 2 weeks to month to check out most of these and when I started visiting the DR I did that and that is out way.
For the 4 guys who when Deep in the Campo (4x4 access only)
What was that like? I have read a few post where the whole town comes out to see you... just curious.
Been to them all, most, many times. I used to do a 2 week drive around the island a couple of times every year in my jeep, just to relax and meet girls.
Havn't done it since I hooked up with the better half, but would love to do it again.
What''s cool is that in some of the more remote towns, it's not unusual to have mothers offer their daughters to you, and they'll go home and pack the bags while you wait.
I had one even tell me that not only would her young daughter be good for me, but she would attend to all of my "needs"! She was dumb as a lamp post, but was so good looking I couldn't stop looking at her. Everytime I said anything, she would start giggling, but in a rapidfire, high pitched giggle that wouldn't stop. Yikes, drove me up a wall after 5 minutes.
If you think it's love try not paying in the morning..
"Do not regret growing older. It is a privilege denied to many."
Well me & gdogg went about an hour past the nearest town, if there is a town it's not deep campo 4x4 only! I will admitt we were looked at passing through the towns on the way but honestly I think it was more the parade of SUVs more then anything, it was probably more traffic then they see all week! About 40 people went.Originally Posted by lonesoul

We went with a local family too and it was their party not ours.
We went up and down mountains, yes mountains not hills, deep into the woods, where a 2X4 truck would not make it much less a car.
I left off a few places because there is a limit of 20 answers. Of course there are a lot more cities then just the ones named.
What's interesting 33 people voted but only 31 of them went to Sosua.
