Did you make it to Casa Teresa? Find anything new? C'mon, Man! Spill the beans....
Lapsus has been bulldozed, I think quite a few years ago

The old building on Ave Indepencia. They moved the whole operation into an old hotel on Pasteur. That's the one I was asking about.

During my last trip to Santo Domingo I didn't get to go anywhere but the hotel and the hospital but I noticed a few new Chica Casas in SD Este around Calle 11 that weren't there before. It's like they're trying to hide the Putas from the tourists but in plain sight.

Ok that makes sense now, I was wondering why you asked about Lapsus when I thought the closing of Lapsus was old news.
The names of those places on Pasteur keep changing whenever I go by there which is very infrequently.
If the new Lapsus was the casa that was 321 or something like that, not quite on Pasteur, it too was closed last time I was around there, about a year ago.
At that time there were only 2 casas on Pasteur, almost side by side, closer to the malecon. The area had definitely seen better days.
Next time I am in Santo Domingo I want to check out Casa Teresa, its been many years and I am curious to see if it has changed.

    You and me both.

Casa Teresa was my 1st Dominican Chica Casa experience on my very 1st night in the D R and it was a memorable one. That place was amazing. All the Chicas were 8+ and the place was operated by a 1st class staff and management.

I wonder who would take a challenge and compile an updated Santo Domingo list, the other site does not have it.

Maybe having an updated chica list would encourage to check out the capital

I don't think there are more than 6 casas?

There are probably more than 60. They're just not bunched up near the Malecon hotels any more. Hell, there are 3 within a 2 block radius of the Acuarium Hotel.

The culture of the Dominican Republic has withstood the Italians, the Spaniards, the Haitians, the Germans, the Russians and the French. It wasn't until the Americans came with their Puritanical sense of value and their bags full of money for the government mucky-mucks that the culture has been suppressed. It will never be eliminated.

You don't have that much time. All it takes is a trusted driver/ security. These places close down and pop back up all over the place and most see few, if any tourists but the locals know where they all are.

With the right taxi, it can be done in three nights.

I think we should open a sticky report so everyone can contribute: we need addresses with some short description if available, let's post!
