Plus all the chicas that need to get home to PP, Montellano, etc....emptyhanded!

    Just wondering.
No one should get too comfortable. The Police will enforce the curfew when they feel like enforcing it. Most of the venues named are Hotel bars and technically don't have to close. And that is the loop hole.

Copa maybe a few more but that's really more of a local bar
Only the Casino and Ahnvee can handle lots of people and you have to be at Ahnvee prior to curfew to get in anyway unless you chose to stay there
You can enter Ahnvee up until the end of transit time.

Do you know what time they are closing? Maybe 2 am during the week and weekends? Or a bit later on weekends? Whether there are just hardcores there or not, I'd stop in to simply have a couple of extra drinks for the late night atmosphere and scout out the scene. If it costs 500 pesos for a 3 min ride back to my hotel, so what. I'll have the cash, it's not like I've been spending fun money for the last 14 months.

I'm just hoping by late June, with those additional millions of vaccines arriving, the curfew might be over then and we don't have to worry about it anymore.

    Here now...

We are under Prohibition..lol...As I say these covid restrictions are following me around like bad case of herpes..lol..

3pm comes NO booze officially. All the little bars on dr rosen shut up...like those little bars across from rockys etc.

You can get drinks on the down low in foam cups depending on bar. Beach bars no problem. Kings/Rumba for example - NO.

It all depends on what owner wants to risk.

    The curfew is 9pm....

Then at night last 2 nights the policia cestur has been on a major hard on to close every place by 10pm. Big vans and police go around the shut everything the fuck down..lol....

    Ahvee - closed
    Casino - closed
    Treehouse - closed
    cococabana - closed
    Carribean diamond -closed.

These were places you could go to after curfew in past. Not now with the hard on directives coming from SDQ.

Funny the weekend warriors dont know what to do...they load the rats in theie vans and head to villa.

Coco Hotel is only place late night i have found...pulled a good one last night...never know....

    That sucks big time

If you had not already booked your trip previously would you still be there under those kind of draconian measures?

How are the Hill Top Condos working out for you. Looks a like a nice place

Yeah X and Tiger had it way worse. At least the curfew is manageable with transit time. No booze sucks for us boozers...lol...

You can eat dinner up to 9pm at least at restaurant. Lot of spandex rats around...yuck...

Hill Top Condos are nice location looking over Alicia Beach. Place seems relatively new. I have a 2 bedroom. Kitchen is real nice with new cabinets and nice counter top. BIG negative - wicker furniture. I hate wicker furniture. everything is wicker. looks like they went to bobs disount furntire and bought 5-10 apartment sets for 99.99...lol...

Also TVs not in rooms at least in my unit. I dont know other units. But I heard they are set up similar. I dont know who owns and what units they rent. Its $145 a night which is too high. You can get cheaper going direct but i worked with a VRBO agent who found this for me. It is cheaper on first floor... I am on second. I cant recommend at this time.

I assume that is new wicker furniture though. I have seen pics of some places that have the 30 year old stuff. Was the bed wicker too?

    Hunter, have you tried Baileys?
The curfew does seem to follow you around.
Was thinking BC for July 4th but given whats going on down there, might head to the North Coast.

Hunter, not cool. You know that all the “hot” girls frequent Baileys. The cows you think you see are just a figment of your imagination. 😂😂😂

Got word this morning on my FB feed from the Jolly Roger in Sosua that the current curfew to include a ban on the sale of alcohol after 3 pm, will now be extended through June 16th.

As always there is strong scientific evidence behind the ban (other than the new president's ideas...)
