Turns out Chrome will be forcing our hand. Chrome will no longer connect to wesbites without SSL.

I tried out a free solution but it doesn't provide ownership information. So the browsers get pissy.

I will keep investigating.

PS. If you visited during my testing you might be stuck being redirected to https://
Either add an exception or use a different browser for now.

If someone knows how to stop that let me know. (I tried deleting cookies and certificates)

I don't know much about W3C ... but I looked over their description of 'Clear-Site-Data', and I'm glad they added it to HTTP.

Okay I have a working SSL solution but some data (read: images) still not secure so browsers are complaining.

I will need to track everything down but should be good to go by the time Chrome is updated.

Starting with Chrome 79 this year, Google will “will gradually move to blocking all mixed content by default.” As ever with encryption changes, there’s a real risk of inadvertently breaking the internet experience for users and so there will be an “opt-out,” essentially users can agree to enable mixed content on specific sites.
