    Transporting Food To the DR?

    Hi,

    I am a big Ben and Jerry's fan and I wanted to pack some ice cream for my next trip. Are there any restrictions about bringing food into the DR or the use of dry ice on airplanes that might prevent me from taking a couple of pints of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with me?

    There are two brands in Playero, Bon & Nestle. I buy the quart size of cookies and cream nightly for 150 pesos.

    during christmas time, customs is tolerant with dominican immigrants visiting family here.
    if not, everything that is not dry food is confiscated.
