It looks like a great place to hang and watch a show, but has anyone had a massage there (or done take out)?
Takes an acorn to grow an oak. I like the location but it sounds more a less a place to go later in the evening. Looks like these guys are in for the long haul so i guess the first real test will be the April invasion.
Went to this place several times (only looking the place was dead). Old LaPassion chica working behind the bar one of the days. Not many girls giving massages and the 3 I saw on all visits none struck me as one I wanted.
We did the tour of the place. Massage rooms looked like LaPassions but I didnt see a nice shower like LaPassion had.
The only thing in their favor is they have a good location but it didnt seem to be helping when I visited. During the day it was empty (we were the ONLY people in the place). At night nobody really stayed long they were all in the discos.
I think the owner(s) have a good potential spot and idea but to get people inside and to stay they will need more and better chica talent and offer something more than their competition to attract clients. They at least need to have a similar selection in both quantity and quality to their competition if they hope to succeed.
Jimmy owes me a dollar!
Where is this again - on the right before or after Classicos??
If your walking towards the beach it's on the same side as classicos. It located right after it.
The "Ghost Wolf" Will be seen again
For me the introduction of some erotic dancing in Sosua is very welcome (although I know plenty of guys who just don't see the point in a town full of loose women). However, when I went to the Tropicana in January you couldn't see the show properly because the stage was in one place and the bar in another (and with a big thatch hanging down which totally obscured the view of the stage). The photos above look like the owners have brought some extra seating to go near the stage which should be an improvement.
Talking of the owners, at least one of these young European guys was walking round with a briefcase with a big corporate logo on it when I was there which suggests that the club is just a sideline for them - probably just as well given the rate of business failure in Sosua.
I will give this place another whirl when I get back in May. Does anyone have any recent experience of the dancing scene there?
When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bike. Then I realised that The Lord doesn't work that way, so I stole one and asked him to forgive me.
No real difference when I was there recently. Usually just a small number of bored looking guys at the bar and one or two even more bored looking chicas behind it. Didn't tempt me off the calles once in two weeks and I remain convinced the whole place is simply a front for gays!
It's just ironic/sarcastic humour Corrado. You don't want to take every post on this board that seriously. All I'm really saying is that, alongside places like the Velvet Glove and Seacrets, I've always found this place to be a bit lame.
No, I take that back. More like a lot lame.
So this is where all the gay men in Sosua go....I guess they need a place to go too....better than having them wander all willy nilly around the streets.
OOOOOOOk, I feel you on that. More than one person actually thought I was snitching to hookers about what happens on this board. Probably because I would post in every thread I could find about snitching and joke about how I was snitching to the chicas. (Just like I'm snitching to the Tropicana's owners on you).
