So basically it's a good plan (by Allianz), the only thing which is missing is cancellation costs prior to the trip (so here I would suggest to book refundable airfare and not too much in advance)

The point is I am not so sure it's the same thing across the timeline and geographic areas.

There is already established recorded open evidence that the major governments already started working on vaccines for this particular name of a virus not later than November 2019

Here we have major resistance to the idea to test and verify who was exposed to it in the past.

Chicago just did a antibody test across the city. I only heard about it from the Ward office, never saw anything on the local news announcing it.

Remember, this thing was named as 'novel' virus. Once you have been exposed to it, it's no longer a novel virus for you. So you can maybe delay a vaccination, maybe can assist more if you are a medical professional, or visit or work in a places that otherwise would be closed. You can visit a strip club or a bar, travel abroad and shove this useless chin diaper of a mask down the throats of politicians. Our beautiful leader recently has spent $200 million of taxpayers money to prop a failing casino.

The "novel" part means it's a new strain, exposure has nothing to do with it. It could also apply to bacteria (new strains of course).

What does “novel” mean in medicine and virology? The word “novel” originated from the Latin word “novus,” which means “new.” In medicine, “novel” usually refers to a virus or bacterial strain that was not previously identified. COVID-19 is a new disease, caused by the novel, or new, coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 that was not previously seen in humans.

The mask doesn't do anything for you, but it does a whole lot for everyone else. If you want to protect yourself get a respirator, but you should do your part to protect others. You already do so in many other aspects of your life; well I hope you do stop at red lights, don't throw your used car oil down the drain, etc.

People who wear these so called masks get sick as often as the people who don't wear them at all.

If everyone 100% will start wearing so called masks tomorrow to protect others as you say, nothing will change at all

The governments can start convincing everyone that wearing orange triangular hats helps to the same fashion.

Those chin diapers are as helpful as potassium iodide tablets in case of a nuclear accident

Their only goal is to form a homogeneous mob that will obey every order no matter how stupid or destructive it is.

Re: 07/2020 - Current situation in Sosua - with Covid

Covid is a new strain of a virus that does not normally circulate in the human population. Every virus mutates and essentially becomes a "new strain". It is a survival mechanism for viruses. With most human exposure viruses you have likely been exposed to a strain in the past that is similar enough to give you some protection. Covid is novel in the case that nothing reasonably similar to has circulated in the human population so slim chance of having protective antibodies. That is what makes it so infective. Once you have had it, it is no longer novel to you. You are both correct.

Most people who get it will get a very mild if not completely asymptomatic case. The theory of you wearing a mask to protect others is very questionable, it is again getting into the LTC homes. Where the severe cases are usually housed.

The logic is that you wear a mask for a year in case you get a disease that you might be able to transmit if your body doesn't completely eradicate the virus quickly, but only for a 2 week period. The virus can also enter through the eyes if you rub them after touching an infected surface. The masks are not face-fitted N95's so do not guarantee prevention of aerosol entry. If you get infected particles on the mask that you have moistened with your own breath, you will breathe in some particles as they are not trapped in the matrix of the mask.

Handwash, handwash, handwash. More likely way to reduce viral access than a mask. Not hand sanitizer, overuse can dry out the skin and cause cracks, thus removing the bodies #1 protection against diesase.

Saying masks protect others would only be correct if you wore it all the time. They do not protect against fomite (contaminated surface) transmission. If you are actually infected, you will contaminate most surfaces in your home. When you go out you will essentially be wearing the virus everywhere. You will not expel virus but you can still leave it on everything you touch. Someone else touches it and rubs their eyes before washing hands, mask has done nothing.

If there was an effective way to stop viruses spreading we would have solved seasonal flu years ago. Seasonal Flu, the other deadly pandemic virus that we get every year.

Re: 07/2020 - Current situation in Sosua - with Covid

The masks we have to wear at work, the ones that we all see everyone wear on tv, be they politicians or reporters, etc....I saw the box they came in when an office clerk opened up a new box and it showed a tag attached to the box that explicitly read that these masks "do not protect against Covid-19", which was the stated reason for why they became mandatory to wear in the first place.

In my particular job, I work alone for the most part, have been socially distant for years from others. I wash my hands several times a day anyway at work because we have some nasty ass mother fuckers working there as it is. Fucktards STANDING on the toilet seat to shit! Dudes who miss the urinal while taking a piss and a puddle forms right beneath the urinal. Thats like Shaq missing a slam dunk on a 6 ft hoop!

I give these bastards a wide berth at all times as they were walking, talking germ and bacteria spreaders long before anyone thought Corona meant anything else besides a substandard Mexican beer.

I stay the fuck away from them.
