When I reply-with-quote on this site, my space bar doesn't work.
It works fine for a straight post like this. It works fine with "reply with quote" posts on the other vBulletin 4.2.2 site I visit.
Something in my cookies?

The Chinese virus infected the Western world with Chinese-style totalitarian politics. - Gladiator
The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. – H. L. Mencken
I have experienced the same thing (cleared cookies as well) I have seen it in PM replies as well. Strangely not present on boards running the same software and it comes and goes. strange
Its definitely not hardware (keyboard problems) as multiple members have reported it
It comes and goes on my end here is my environment
OS: Windows 10
Keyboard: USB Keyboard (Rosewill Mechanical)
Browser: Chrome
I haven't tried other browsers its a strange one happened in a reply 5 minutes but not now.
Pretty sure JD said this had happened to him as well
It's true, it's true!!
I thought it was just me but in order to get the space bar to register on this site (only) we have to type a character, hit return, back space to delete the initial character and continue as if all that bullshit didn't just go down.
WFT ISOC???
Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.
- Benjamin Franklin
I had the same problem on GoogleMail yesterday, so not unique to ISOC. First time I had experienced it. Could it be a widespread virus?
As I meant to say, strange that it's only happening to me on ISOC.
I've had the same problem before. It comes and goes.
vBulletin 5 may be "de-bugged" enough, by now, to consider an upgrade.
I am not a tech guy, and I am grateful that we have Don Tomas to handle that!
Meanwhile ... as long as hitting the Enter key and doing a backspace restores my space-bar, I'm good to go.
(And if that fails, I can write my reply in Notepad and copy-pasta it into the reply window.)
